With how hard the Mephisto wank happens to the point that the entire Green Goblin's origin is retconned, they might as well retcon this Sister Sorrow arc too as a punishment that the likes of him shouldn't have jobbed to a random OC. Make it that Mephisto happened to burn the OMD contract too and Norman retrieved the baby, May (Watson) Parker offscreen. The build up was right there, all that's left is to connect the dots.

I wouldn't be as upset at ASM if it hadn't killed off other, more interesting universes with their own canon just to import Spider-Gwen or Miles for increased revenue.
Their stories got cancelled so they can be shilled on brand recognition for their popularity instead of doing anything interesting with them at all. I didn't like Ultimate Spider-Man much but it's a disservice to those comics that Miles is just a main universe thing now because lazy writers wanted to take him
