Carnage is always absurdly powerful, in his series he beat the shit out of Anti-Venom, and on multiple occasions absorbs Anti-Venom or Anti-Carnage symbiotes to nullify their impact on him. The gold accents on Venom are actually a variation of this, mixed with Asgardian god metal and chaos magic. And this is a weakened Carnage.
