How does everyone here feel about ambiguous gaslighting content? What I mean by that is, basically: a guy wakes up in some kind of medical facility as a girl, is clearly confused/horrified about his female body, yet is repeatedly shown medical records and other identifying documents indicating he's always been female, just suffering from extreme dissociation and had to be checked into a clinic for her own well being. Not sure if people prefer if it's ambiguous whether he/she is actually insane and is receiving genuine help from the POV of a diseased mind or if it's obvious from the start he's being gaslit but routinely drugged and conditioned into a mindbroken state of acceptance.

If she was actually a girl the entire time it's not really TSF to begin with. Depending on how the story goes, it could also smack of the annoying kind of wish fulfillment. If she was a male initially, whether or not the gaslighting is ambiguous or not is more a stylistic choice than anything. You could make something interesting either way, but I think having some ongoing physical changes would be good, whether they're dramatic irony and the readers are told about them but the character doesn't notice or the reader needs to be sharp to pick up on your hints. I think I'd prefer the more obvious approach, both in regard to ambiguity of the gaslighting and physical changes, myself.

Why wouldn't the character be aware of the physical changes, especially if it was stated to be a gaslight scenario? The staff would just be telling the character that they're "finally putting some weight back on" or something as the chest and hips grow.

I loved the fact that a good chunk of the comedy in Ranma 1/2 was that Ranma-chan was mogging Akane in all aspects of femininity that mattered without even trying and Akane being Jealous and insecure about it (part of the enjoyment was because i find Akane at best annoying and at worst generally a pain especially in the anime continuity but she isn't that much better in the manga just slightly more calm not by much tho).

What always happens when new tech comes out is that the hype train over it stirs up supporters and detractors, which then causes a bunch of slop/trash flood the market as everyone basically tries to set up get-rich-quick scheme using it. After a while the hype dies and investors/the public realize what's slop/trash and what isn't, and the slop dies and thing that aren't slop survive.

Essentially that's what's happening with AI as the slop gets ignored due to poor quality and no more hype, while stuff that uses it in a way that's actually competent is going to become the new standard going forward. If I head to guess from what I've seen applied to TSF, AI is going to be used mainly for TF/TG caption images or TF/TG story images, with only a small few using it to make comics wholesale. So TG comic artists should be fine for now.

I was thinking about that as a follow up if the first was successful.

It would require a lot more coding 5o set up a full on princess maker where training a young boy in this and that made him more of this kind of princess or that princess vs a simple game where you wonder around the castle and talk to people and perform tasks and depending on your actions ticks a stat up and down to be used later.

There is a story there but it is depressing and not really for porn. I do believe that you're roundaboutly talking about Norah Vincent, a lesbian journalist who decided to pretend to be a man in order to write a book about the experiment, Self-Made Man. It was such a lonely and upsetting experience for her that she eventually had herself committed, as chronicled in her next book Voluntary Madness. There's X Gender which is a Japanese lesbian deciding that she's actually nonbinary, not quite ftm but close enough, I don't know how good it is as I stopped reading it when the main character had a near mental breakdown because her last girlfriend got married and had a kid "ruining her body with a man" it was clear to me at that point that I would not like the main character and I wanted no part in their journey.

There is a three part series where a girl turns into a boy and then gets close to the school slut or loser (can't remember which) and they hit it off, I can't remember the name of it but it was probably the best ftm series I read. A worse ftm series is Tensei Pandemic, that's just one of the worse GB series I've read in general, it didn't have the blandness or wish fulfilment of a Kaneko Noaya series, it had a really bad finale which retroactively ruined the rest of the series. Really I suppose there never will be too many ftm GB series because it's just not as fun and it's a niche in a niche.

It's from quite awhile ago, but I recall the main character was crossdressing and hiding his gender, and was on a date with what was seemingly a lesbian business woman who was taking charge and trying to make sure the MC didn't fall for any guys; and it leads to them at the business woman's apartment or maybe a love hotel where business woman tries to have sex with the mc, while he tries to hide his gender from her. There may or may not have been pegging involved.
