One time i did a job where theives were stealing wires from the electrical pipe that went from the meter to the roof. So we replaced thw wires and filled the pipe with expanding foam so they couldn't take the wires. They obviously tried again but couldn't get the wires out so now we had a pipe with cut wires in it that we couldn't replace. So we had to replace the entire pipe and wires. Which was way more expensive than just replacing the wires again.

If you live in an area with lots of breaks ins the only solution is to drive around in a car with bulletproof windows and tires and a protected undercarriage and live in a bunker with a bunch of cameras and lights so you can watch the criminals rob you, or move.
