Output piece for a tankless hot water heater cracked. Needs replaced but has a spot for the thermistor to mount. Is there a specific name anyone knows for this piece to make finding a replacement easier/possible?
Any search online for a "thermistor pipe/holder/port" just pulls up results for thermostor sensors.
Unit is Ranein 14kW heater. (Chinese manufacturer site even less helpful than googlw so far.)

Almost definitely proprietary. Only thing similar I can think of is the outlets for a water pressure tank that have a 1/4" outlet for a pressure valve or switch, but I don't know the specific name for those, either, or if they'd accommodate your thermistor.

I feel like this could definitely be made out of standard parts from a plumbing supply.
worst case scenario take it to a machine shop and ask if they can lathe/weld you something similar. you'll pay out the ass but I'm sure they can do it. I paid like 40 dollars for 2 tiny aluminum spacers that had to be a precise height.

i would try and take a soldering iron and smooth out the crack. then get a male to female adapter and epoxy that onto the cracked threaded end. and then to top it off with a coat of epoxy or whatever over the whole thing
