My house has paint on adjacent walls with different colors, paint on the ceiling, paint on the fucking trim, paint on the doorbell, plastered-over nail/screw holes with no paint.

Somehow my grandparents' house is worse. They have paint and wallpaper on the ceiling; at least one patch in a textured ceiling where the previous owner of the house took plaster and covered the hole, and just took a knife and sliced into the plaster, but it looks nothing like the rest of the ceiling; botched 3-way circuit the previous owner gave up on and we had to fix; and the worst part is the guy was apparently proud of his handiwork, must've been blind.
