Hey /fa/, what's your fictional or real life style inspiration? Mine is Dean Winchester. I'm trying to purchase more clothing to fit his style. I'll be 31 in March and new to "fashion" but from what I can tell it looks like American Heritage/Workwear.
I've purchased:
2x Red Wing Iron Rangers (Amber and Suede Slate)
2x Red Wing Classic Moc (Copper and Hawthorne)
Cockpit USA Dunkirk RAF Hooded Aviator Jacket (Cost me $1900)
Levi's Military Jacket (Military Green and Black)
All Saints Lark Leather Jacket
Andrew Marc Classic Leather Racer Jacket
Levi's Denim Sherpa Lined Trucker Jacket
Henley's I usually get Todd Snyder, but I could use your recommendations for Henley's, Hoodies, and Boots/Sneakers.
I was going to get some Grant Stone Brass Boots, but they were out of stock. Any high quality brands like or better than Cockpit USA, and Red Wing would be much appreciated! And if you could rate my style/stereotype me, I'd really appreciate it.
P.S. For casual I wear a lot of Boon, Fairtex, and Winning Boxing hoodies and t shirts. Boon's t shirts and hoodies are great quality, thick cotton and rarely shrink, so much so that I've had the double tiger Sak Yant t shirt for almost 7 years and it's going strong. For sneakers, I like Adidas and New Balance (New Balance Paperboy x Beams 920, Adidas James Bond No Time To Die "Core Black, Asics Meta Run (black and silver), New Balance Green Apple 2002R Good Vibes Pack).
Thanks for reading my blogpost, I'm of course, willing to rate/stereotype anyone who helps/replies to my thread.

I don’t have any one particular person I take inspiration from. I like the style of Gram Parsons, Dwight Yoakam, and the members of Midland. I also take inspiration from RRL look books when they release a western inspired collection.

Good point, looking at my pic related it does look like bad quality. The stuff I wear is kind of the same style, but great quality, the aviator jacket I have is legitamately beautiful. It has a raccoon trimmed (lol) fur hood, is made of sheepskin, and full of comfy warm sherling

Awesome, some new brands to look up. Thanks bro

You've already got the staple pieces for your wardrobe it would seem. Just wear them out and buy different colored shirts or something more disposable. If you get too many boots and jackets you will never get to wear them in.

Thanks bro. Any recommendations for good quality Henley’s? I don’t care how expensive they will be along with t shirts and jeans. Just so that they don’t get faded or those lint ball thingies on them after a couple of washes.
The jacket and sweater that Sam is wearing in my pic related looks kinda cool. There’s an LL Bean Clearance Center and it looked like they had cool stuff. What does /fa/ think about LL Bean and J Crew?

Lucky Brand has some vintage (2005-2009) henleys that are good weight and pretty cheap. Don't buy ANYTHING new from Lucky Brand tho. It's all Shein quality these days.

>American Heritage/Workwear.
That's a bullshit social media buzzword. In the real world those are just regular casual clothes that men have been wearing across the world for nearly a century.

The way he dresses matches his personality, strangely enough. Next time I watch the movie I'm gonna pay attention to everything he wears. What according to the directors and costume management would a sociopath wear?
>>18644564
Yeah, his style looks cool, but for some reason they look faded and vintage, but not in a good way. I could be wrong, but wearing those types of clothing if you're attractive just brings more attention to your "attractiveness"

I don't get why these "big" fashion brands use such ugly people to show off their clothing. I was watching a video of the models used in the 90s and early 2000s compared to today, those people were actually full of life. The runway walkers of today look depressed, sickly, and just a quick glimpse feels like an attack on the soul. Really funny how he's wearing a shirt that says "impotent."
I wonder who actually has sex with these people.

They look faded and "vintage" because he has been wearing them for a while. It's called taking care of your clothes. Unlike modern fast fashion slop consoomers who throw their clothes away just because they're slightly old and buy new slop.

Because everything in modern popular culture since the 2010s is a means to demoralize and humiliate people. When you think about men (and especially white men), that limp-wristed androgynous mind broken degenerate is what they want you to think about and aspire to be. They don't want you to pursue beauty and greatness. They want you to be meek, pathetic and keep consooming slop.

True, I go to university and am a bit older, and there is pressure to fit in and buy the newest trend. My father was telling me that the clothes that I wear, particulary the boots, should never look new, he said it looks try hard. The boots he said looks better worn, and is how they are supposed to look. I don't know how people buy fast fashion crap like h&m and zara, they break within a month! Thanks for your astute observation.

I noticed that we may have gone through a time line shift after Obama's second term. Everything went to shit and the diversity and anti white racism went into overdrive. I've gone to an alternative high school in NYC (whole 'nother story), where the principal was literally a Communist. I asked her if she thought private school should be illegal, and she agreed (I had gone to private school before but due to circumstances I was cast down with the masses). It was funny to hear that she placed her own children in "elite" private schools in NYC. In 2014 - 2015, that same school was brainwashing students to go against ICE, and had students hold up anti ICE signs back then and posted it to their Facebook. These commies indeed take part in "The Long March."

Thanks fren for posting. You really dress like him in real life? (I don't know his name but he looks very familiar, looks like an actor). Chuck Taylor's with a suit, interdasting

Your father's definitely right about the boots. So long as you haven't bought cheap plastic garbage they'll still look good with age (unlike sneakers). The ironic paradox is that you have to buy them new at some point before they can become worn in.
