I was into Flys in the late 90s. You could get them at coastal surf shops.

Now I just wear whatever from the gas station rack and no one ever cares.

Sunglasses are a silly thing to spend money on, fashionwise I think. They're all the same. They shade the sun from my eyes. I won't spend over $20 for them.

They still make Flys. They're "Black Flys" now though. And in keeping with the late 90s, they even have these. I think I'm going to order these. All the other kinds are sold out but I only like black on black anyway.

Never one to pass up a deal, I went to their closeout section and found these for the same price as the DJ glasses. While I love the Beasties and all, the turntable on the side really is a bit much and I don't like how the temples are like halfway down the lens. Might sit weird. I'm not spending $85 plus shipping to find out. These both look pretty standard. And I was happy with the brand years ago.
Anyway, they'll ship soon and I will have new shades.
