H
So I posted about a year ago about wanting to go full Barbarian mode in the warmer months. (I go wizard mode in the winter).

I'm slowly building my wardrobe for Barbarian mode. I have fur belts, kilts, scarves, and a few other pieces that fit the aesthetic.
Still working on: knee-high leather boots, bracer, and necklace.

This thread is going to be my inspiration and grails for my Barbarian mode build.

not sure where this piece comes from but I like the crocodile spine and the leopard print
>>
looking to mix in more animal leathers

Do those numerous laces and loops have any use whatsoever? Do you really tighten the boots that way? Or is that some glued-on Etsy bullshit? Looks like some social media, phone swipe screenshot honestly. Like you were on your fucking phone looking at social media ads. What are you, a 14 year old girl?

>build mode

I hate the way you kids express yourselves. Is this going to be "barbarianCORE" also? Are you barbarianMAXXING?

Disgusting.

I currently have:
>calf
>iberian lynx with fur
>horse
>lamb
>lamb with fur

working on sheep with lizard skin details

> Or is that some glued-on Etsy bullshit?
No it is all high-quality which is why I stated non-LARP style. I don't want anything from Etsy
The boots are sheep leather and the 2008 version has lizard skin.

Go back to your boot/watch threads grandpa nobody gives a fuck about your boring ass fit
>>
the 14th addiction necklaces sell out so fast and the resale is even higher priced. definitely need one for my build tho
>>
I wish you could get this quality from Etsy but nobody makes anything like this. Made from Bison horns, sheep leather, and snakeskin.
>>
>the leather/fur scarf iteration resale is $1k+
I opted for the cotton version but it's not quite as cool
>>
>>18645236
here's the version I got, it's hot where I live so I plan on wearing just a tank top or no shirt at all with it
>>
AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaa
>>
You want to look like some low-rent Johnny Depp? LOL
Seems like you had this all saved up to dump at one time. I guess someone so alone as yourself can festoon himself with all sorts of wizards and warriors garb. Won't keep any extra women away.

I got a couple of these Kmrii kilt-skirts I just worry they will be too long for a barbarian core style. I am somewhat tall and all of the pictures on japs it looks short so should be okay. Still looking for the dark red version
>>
>>18645242
Johnny Depp is a pirate bro, I am going more for an Arnold Shwartznigger but with more style
>>
Another pic of the 14th Addiction leather scarf with a tiger eye. Second hand is $1k+ probably won't be getting one any time soon.
>>
wish I copped this at retail. $90 was a good price.
>>
my favorite piece, picked up 2x more of them for cheap on grailed recently
>>
>sells for 421 on grailed
>sells again for 450 on grailed
>sells again for 540 on grailed
these things just keep gaining value, wish I copped the tiger eye one for 350 a few months back
>>
cow leather bracer
>>
these boots are insane but I'll probably never find a pair in my size
Features:
>shark leather
>ostrich leather
>crocodile leather
>cow
>>
I need something with crocodile leather since I live in a swamp but I think I'll have to settle for lizard skin. Really trying to get these boots
>>
another sold-out bracer style bracelet that I wish I got
>>
wish I bid on this, although idk how well the tassels would work with what I'm going for, seems a bit flashy for a barbarian
>>
>>18645244
How many katanas and fedoras do you own at this point?
Do you make the threads of the weird looking reality show model too? What's your major malfunction?
>>
>>18645255
That's some Rob Roy MacGregor shit right there.
>>
>dude wants $1000 for this
>>
>>18645256
I deadlift almost 400lbs, please go back to your grandpa style threads if you don't like barbarian mode.
>>18645257
I don't know who that is but I'm guessing he's not a barbarian
>>
>>18645258
There's some version of you a little crazier with a little more money who will buy it.

>>18645259
You shouldn't be proud of your ignorance. I'd have looked the name up and not mentioned anything.
>>
if I lived in a more northern area I'd probably want this but the cat-fur belts work better for me.
>>
>>18645261
ah very cool, I am part scottish so I was thinking I could get away with a kilt since they don't make barbarian rags

these leather skirts are cool but they're for women
>>
I think a cotton kilt works better than a leather belt-bag
>>
the problem with these thigh bags is that you can't wear them with a kilt. really cool tho
>>
I have been going to the gym 5x a week minimum for the last few months, been thinking about starting roids but I'm worried about losing my hair and my balls
>>
this is the one Engrave the Cross piece I own but they make some cool stuff. really want those bracers I posted earlier
>>
these custom moccasins appeared on jp auction a few weeks ago but I think I prefer a more ragged style. too many little studs and the toe-cap isn't made of the signature lizard skin like the non-custom version
>>
crazy piece made from fox-pelts with the head included. sold for almost $2,000
>>
this scarf is pretty cool but I think it'd work in a colder environment I'm more of a tropical barbarian
>>
better look at the lizard skin details from the 2008 evolved moccasin
>>
some wrap skirt
speaking of one-off pieces, Shohei Takamiya makes some pretty cool stuff but I don't think it's worth the prices listed
>>
another picture of the big scarf I got, should be arriving next week. it's got an afghan pattern on it
>>
I think if I wear the cat-pelt belt I won't have room for this, but it might look cool wearing it across my back as sling
>>
hope I'll be able to style this with some knee-high boots, cat belt, and a tank top
>>
still thinking of ways to incorporate this but I'll have to see how short the >>18645280 kilt is
>>
love the colors on this thing it looks even better in person.
>>
these are kind of cool but I don't think they go up high enough for what I'm aiming for. plus the dude wants 4k for em
>>
>>18645285
they're kind of ugly too
>>
>some Etsy trash
kind of cool but you know it will fall apart and look like ass
>>
>thought this was the dark red version
>it's almost 100% the light red version
fug
>>
a lot of the pieces I want come from GOA/Gunda vkei Japanese style. it's very maximalist, I used to be big into minimalism but I don't like it so much anymore. I like when stuff is raw and messy looking.
>>
I spend so much time in the forest I don't think wearing hedi slimane works with my lifestyle. too many expensive jeans destroyed by hiking too much in them.
>>
another picture of the 14th addiction afghan scarf
>>
if six was nine is such a cool brand but I basically can't wear anything but the belts/scarves because I'm an XL in most japanese brands. super expensive too, but the quality is good.
>>
if this was an XL instead of an XS I'd have insta-bought it. love the raw sheep fur
>>
I love how the soles are flat, perfect for barbarian core. the biggest problem with finding barbarian boots is they all have a heel like the 1vfudie boots.
>>
I'd consider these but I don't think they'd survive the swamps like the 14th addiction moccasins plus they have a heel. love the alligator leather tho
>>
not sure how I feel spending hundreds on a pair of boots when my swamp shoes last about 6 months before they fall apart. maybe a cobbler could repair them...I've never been to a cobbler
>>
>hiking back 2 miles over rough terrain with a shoe with no sole
hope it never happens again. reminds me of the time I tried to wear crocs into the mangroves and had to hike back 2.5 miles in just waders
>>
1vfudie isn't quite at the level of other one-of-one designers like Shohei Takamiya but this bag is pretty cool. don't think it'd work with my planned outfit tho
>>
Idk this looks unpulloffable but I'm rooting for you
>>
>>18645343
thanks man, I'm trying to get fuggin huge so it's easy
>>
this is a better thread than 95% of what is in the catalog. don't be afraid to make another after its done
>>
>>18645225
your thoughts on cloaks?
unironically wish they would come back as an acceptance piece to wear in society...
>>
>>18645461
I have a cape/cloak
it's pretty cool
>>
cow hide
crocodile leather
and snakeskin
>>
>>18645486
full image
I don't think the zippers fit with barbarian core very well, but the materials are awesome and don't look glued-on like the 1vfudie pieces
>>
>just put up on mercari
thinking about doing a snipe bid
>50 likes
yikes
>>
my kilt and scarf are supposed to arrive today
>>
would look cool as a crossbody sling bag
>>
pretty cool bag with tiger eye gem and horns
>>
>>18645787
>>
this kilt has more of a scottish vibe
>>
>>18645233
>non-larp
>while wearing that
lol whatever todd
>>
>>18645795
they're very high quality
>>
here's a cool alternative way to wear the thigh bag
>>
very barbarian code mode esque
>>
here's a cool pair with a fur trim
not sure what year, 2008-2010 I think
>>
>>18645811
close up
>>
there's very little good male barbarian core on pinterest, tons for women tho. and all AI slop
>>
>Non-larp
>posts LARP
Embarrassing!
>>
>>18645840
thank you for your input, very nice, let's see a fit
>>
>>18645849
exactly, you haven't posted a single fit
>>
I rather think that just buying furs and leathers and making your own garments is a tad more barbariancore than just buying gaudy upsold Etsy stuff like the last 100 items u posted
>>
>>18645897
yes I have.
>>18645929
>buying furs and leathers
>making your own
so...the same thing Etsy does? the fur/leather I have is super soft because it's tanned by an actual fashion retailer not an arts and crafts supplier
>>
>>18645933
>Fashion retailer
SO barbariancore of u...
>>
>>18645264
>I am part scottish
The LARP never ends
>>
>>18645935
looking at these two pieces: >>18645305 and >>18645282 you can see that the fur looks glued-on in the first one and it's stitched quite well in the second. Same fur (cow).
There's a reason I don't source from Etsy.
>>18645955
what's the issue?
>>
>>18645973
1/16th doesn't make you scottish
>>
>>18645973
the thought of you wearing all this while sitting in an air conditioned room with plumbing and electricity that you didn’t even build is funny to me.
>>
>>18645980
let's see what you're wearing then lol
button down and jeans? XD faggot.
>>
>>18645983
post literally one picture of you wearing anything posted in this thread
>>
>>18645983
>button down and jeans
pretty close yeah. but you don’t see me larping as the dude who made his own clothes out of the beasts he killed himself
>>
>>18645984
here's another picture of myself.
>>18645985
cool dude, go enjoy your grandpa larp threads you boring queer
>>
scarf and kilt should be here in a few hours
>>
Lold at the bitter haters. You do you anon.
>>
>>18645992
thanks anon, now I'm gonna eat and run to the gym for my sick barbarian physeek
>>
>>18645987
got potential. need to bonesmash lol and get your softer facial features harder. you got this
>>
All of the shit you posted looks really cool and I'm sure you spent a pretty penny, but if you're not MINIMUM 185cm and 100kg then I would probably cringe out of my skin seeing it on you.
