i get that, and it does work (ive done it), but after the weight is lost, shouldnt carbs be reintroduced? he says modern bodybuilders eat way too many carbs and that they should be kept minimal
i've pressed him in the comments of his videos multiple times if he's actually advocating for keto, but he never replies

I saw the video and some others and he says limited/zero carbs. So in my opinions is better to just eat less for a start and the deeper you go into the cut you can eat even less, but take into consideration that you should up the fats and protein and just don't snack in between meals. Pretty simple stuff but it's a good refresher for a guy in his 30's like me who just go through the montions sometimes. Also i used to follow similar advince in my 20's and i was lean af, i think it was charles poliquin that was advocating low carbs aswell at the time for recomping

This man looks like he's never recovered in his life. Why would anyone take his advice?

>reintroduce carbs
it was never about not eating carbs in the first place, just eat less of them, which is good general advice because most people eat too much of them.
I think the amount of carbs a person should eat is in direct relation with the number of calories they burn in a day.

Carbs are not literally anabolic, anon. No macronutrient is literally anabolic. Protein is the trigger for the anabolic process, and it's still not literally anabolic. Insulin is anti-catabolic, and even then you don't need carbs for that, though it is the most effective macronutrient at spiking it.
