I have final exams starting in two weeks and ending in three weeks. If I stopped working out now to purely focus on exams, how much muscle will I lose in that time? How long will it take me to recover that muscle and my lifts when I start up again?

I’m in law school so kinda, all my classes have just one final exam that’s 100% of our grade and they’re graded on a curve so it doesn’t even matter if you do well you have to do better than your classmates

We have this idiom
>Repetition is the mother of learning
If the grading is done using the Bell curve and everyone is skipping gym in order to cram stuff into their heads, you better skip the gym too.
Ofc OP can always be the vain stupid mf who would sacrifice grades for looks but that's just plain stupid. Real mf succeeds in academics and looks good while doing it.

You will lose very little actual muscle mass, and what you lose will very quickly come back once you start lifting again thanks to muscle memory.
You will lose lots of muscle glycogen and neural adaptations, so you will look like you lost much more muscle than you actually did, and the first few sessions after you start lifting again will feel terrible.

M.Sc. from a proper Uni here.
Most students don't know how to study. They think they need to grind and cramming is the most efficient way of learning. It is when you didn't study properly over all the MONTHS.
Some Anki and daily self testing and those fags would only need 30% of the time, retain the content actually longterm and wouldn't need to skip the gym to play catch up.

ARE YOU SERIOUS DICK HEAD? You're young three weeks is a drop in the bucket of your full life. You will only lose if you focus on stupid shit like this. Seriously, 5yrs from now.... fuck that, `1yr from now it's not even going to register. So, no gym, hit the books, get good grades, land a kick-ass job and chad the fuck out. Damn, you youn-uns are as dumb as I must have been too. ugh.

When I was in uni I would ace every assignment and exam then when finals rolled around I’d calculate what I need to pass and most of the time I could fail the final exam and still walk with a B or higher as long as I didnt get a zero. I never understood my classmates who treated finals so seriously to the point of suffering.
