Is this or rack pull legit ? I.e any exercise that lets you safely do 70% of the concentric or is it just a novice trap that fries your cnc for diminishing returns

Pretty top tier for improving sticking points. But full rom is always good to be doing unless somehow you are the strongest at what is typically the weakest part of the lift. I usually do heavy partials then full rom since I have limited equipment.

the sticky point is pecs unwrapping from ribcage and tugging violently on sternal thus far inactive part of muscle and ripping it to pieces causing injury of muscle and costochondritis, stiff shortened malformed pecs
as the bar goes up with necessarily retracted shoulders pec suddenly has less distance to cover cause it's unwrapping from ribcage curvature
it's a retarded motion, it's all lats lol any pec growth is wrong and accidental and wrong
shoulder must be protracted for pec and arm must be in front of you like so:

>lower traps and lats - beginning of pullup ( just 15 degs of elbow bend) from complete shoulder elevation but you pull from in front of you from the ceiling kneeling (20 degrees angle to torso) - everything is unilateral and so is this, let your arm be taken by load and separated from torso and then u bring it back (angle of rubber is too shallow if shoulder aches)
>and pull at angle - angle torso towards rubber this way scaps go into posterior tilt not together, much better for serratus and traps, this is 2 separate movements really

>what people imagine is armwrestling - internal shoulder rotation with supported elbow with protracted shoulder into rubber pulled from the side and slightly up - all of these are undulating isometric holds
>pecs are also done in that pull from above and brachialis is also done there

it's a retard motion, all powersharting motions are retarded OHP included, but if you really MUST bench, do it like jay cutler:

zero arch, zero leg drive, zero rom, never go down and never go up in motion, shoulders protracted - he lies on that bench like a beetle that's been turned over on its back
if u MUST bench do it like jay cutler: zero arch, zero leg drive, zero rom, shoulders protracted - never goes up and never goes down, he lies there like beetle turned over on its back

>Fries your cns
I'm sry bt u r retarted
Never bench with safeties or collars so you can dump to the side if you fail a rep
Partial reps are an absolute waste of time for anyone not well into advanced strength (symmetric strength dot com)
