I hear climbing and running are the new hookup cultures. A girl I know who's "polyamorous" literally met a guy on her first run, went abroad with him and fucked him.

I'd probably enjoy climbing but I can't be bothered to find a gym or buy all the various equipment and such, so I've only ever incidentally climbed when out in the field and needed to get over a ridge or rock face, or up a mountain and there was no easy path. Also I live in the flatlands currently so the only thing to climb is trees. If I lived out in the mountains somewhere I'd probably do it.

climbing gyms probably have to pay way more in insurance because the risk of someone being a retard and breaking an ankle in a fall is much higher than in a normal gym
lowkey I'd like it if there were more small climbing gyms that just had a few tension boards

Fair enough. Nice idea you should do it yourself. You'd be able to undercut the rest, and as the owner of this cool tension climbing place all the limbing girls would be willing to lick your Penis non stop

Magnus Midtbø took Eddie Hall to a climbing gym, he's 190 cm and 180 kg

Granted he's probably a bit stronger than you too, but the point is that you shouldn't let your height and weight hold you back if you want to climb.

Alright, tell me your hand care routine, because ive been getting into climbing for the past few months and the skin on my hands are shredded to hell.
I scrub and lotion all the time, but after every hard climbing session starts it all over again.
Is this just how its gonna be, or do I have bitch hands?

Shitter climbing is harder on the hands because it's more juggy (=more friction), shitters constantly reposition their hands on the holds (=even more friction), and because shitters have less experience (=don't know when to stop to preserve skin).

How often are you climbing? And what else are you using your hands for through the week?
I do basically no hand care and my skin is fine. I climb 2-3 times a week, 2-3.3hr sessions.
If you use moisturizer on your hands constantly your skin will stay soft and not get stronger

I decided to throw some climbing in recently since there's a bouldering gym nearby.
I'm stuck on v3s though, there's a few I can do but I think I just don't have the technique down.
Was doing a v0 today, but it's like a 70degree overhang but I think I'm starting to get the idea of how to actually properly push off and get to the next holds without killing your fingers.
That said, I don't understand these grading systems at all
>boulder is literally just a ladder
>same grade as having to hang upside down
>boulder where you have to jump horizontally 5 feet and catch a hold
>same grade as a ladder with some funny foot placement

True, the easier routes have a lot of jugs and can fuck up my hands, but im a lot more efficient with those now. I'm hovering around the V3 territory with some punching into V4s if im fresh, but I know my technique is shit and not flowy.

I climb twice a week for up to two hours a session, so nothing too long. I don't do any heavy labor for work, so my hands are fine, they just get shredded a bit after im done.

My hands get kinda dry, so I usually lotion at night and sometimes throughout the day at work, so cracking hand skin is something I deal with.

Figure skating probably but it's pretty much a requirement to be gay.
>>
>>77318995
I actually do both. And I'm not even gay.
I feel like bouldering girls have nicer bodies overall. Figure skating has some really beautiful and fit girls, in fact the most beautiful girl I've ever met is a skater at my rink, but the required physical floor is much lower so you get a far bigger range of body types until you hit the top levels.
Bouldering has a much higher minimum fitness requirement, so it filters out a lot of the chubbier girls who could passably do figure skating at a lower level.
The main benefit to figure skating girls is they to be more traditional. While bouldering girls tend to be more of your sorority girl type.
