The split was made by a group of botmakers, and it has always been seeded by their group of friends.
How do you grow that thread when the two threads share the same subject? They don't have much visibility in /vg/. The only way to grow their thread is to attack this one. It always have been their mantra that this thread is for spam and their threads is for high-quality contributions. But they don't have any real power to do this content-based segregration. They have to do it through repetition or by convincing their botmakie friends. Every time we get spammed, it's an opportunity that they can use to grow their thread. The existence of the split created shitty incentives. And by holding the hobby hostage, I mean that in their vision of the general, botmakers are in the spotlight. This is something that's being forced against our will.

Is there a way to get text hidden/spoilered in SillyTavern? I want to set up something where the AI makes up hidden effects/events I don't know about, but want the AI to actually be keeping track of it throughout the roleplay instead of making something up on the spot when the secret is revealed.

R1 is great at reasoning, however then it fucks up the actual generation. If I wanted high-quality output, I would have wrote a hybrid api combining R1's reasoning block with Claude's output. And yes, 5.2 is still good in SFW, Sonnet is fucking great at it, but at an eye-watering price point.
