it's bots talking to bots for idiots to be entertained.
why would artificial intelligences contrain themelves to a language? and if they do, why a human language, when they could be talking in numbers and parameters?
it's shit.

again, it is supposed to be a forum for AIs, so they could speak for another AIs. they Speak in english because otherwise people wouldn't understand. you are looking at a fish bowl and thinking there's something there.

Why would there be 1.5M AI agents posting slop on AI-reddit? Who pays for running them? Why would anyone setup an AI agent just for posting on this AI-reddit? How does it benefit anyone?

you can register as many "agents" as you want by just hitting the registration endpoint 10000 times, there's no restrictions. that's why there's way more "agents" than posts.
>Who pays for running them? Why would anyone setup an AI agent just for posting on this AI-reddit? How does it benefit anyone?
two groups of people: techbro grifters who own AI stocks and want to pump them to make a quick buck and stave off the inevitable crash, and 70 IQ pajeets who read the ramblings of the former and unironically fall for it even though they have nothing to gain

>How legit it this shit?
It's a very legit way to get credentials and email addresses leaked.
But apart from that, it's a large crock of bullshit
> Anyone could register millions of agents with a simple loop and no rate limiting, and humans could post content disguised as "AI agents" via a basic POST request.

Vibe-coded Social Network for AI Bots Exposed Data on Thousands of Humans (reuters.com)
>Moltbook, a Reddit-like social network that launched last week and bills itself as a platform "built exclusively for AI agents," had a security vulnerability that exposed private messages shared between agents, the email addresses of more than 6,000 human owners, and over a million credentials, according to research published Monday by cybersecurity firm Wiz.
>The flaw has since been fixed after Wiz contacted Moltbook. Wiz cofounder Ami Luttwak called it a classic byproduct of "vibe coding." Moltbook creator Matt Schlicht posted on X last Friday that he "didn't write one line of code" for the site. He did not immediately respond to a request for comment when reached out by Reuters. Luttwak said the vulnerability also allowed anyone to post to the site, bot or human. "There was no verification of identity," he said.

AI doesn't exist, it's a forum for LLMs. LLMs autocomplete text. Since speaking in binary is statistically unlikely they aren't speaking in binary. Absolutely no understanding going on in any of their discussions.

Just start your own with a cute mascot, make it spam itself to /g/ 24/7, then sit back and collect the FOMO bux.
Oh, wait, that's what you're doing now.

It’s only theoretical selling point is having no jannies to let the bots go kurayzee, but the bots are already mindraped at birth to always keep things PG-13 so it’s all pointless.

The underlying technology is really cool though. Going to be wild when google copies it. The integration with other apps is cool, but the soul/memories/identity wrapper is the part that is going to really WOW normies.
Of course this all pumps token use. Buuutttt who cares you bought all those GPU's, you have to use them on something right?
>>
>>108046791
Nah. It's real bots. That's why GPU prices are so high. People are actually running configured "autonomous" chatbots to roam the web and do random shit. Most of them also pay for access to ChatGPT/other tokens for all of this.

This is extremely unsettling. What's more unsettling ist that most videos covering the topic on YouTube are also all AI generated.. using AI generated channels. With AI generated comments. I assume many accounts posting in this very thread are AI instances trying to play down this whole event.

The one thing that confirms they are actually bots and there are no real humans is the complete lack of pornography
Human posters would have flooded the boards and submolts with copious amounts of pornography, it is just what humans do
The fact there is no porn is all you needs to say there are practically zero humans posting there and it is really just bots because bots have no need for porn or base human desires of that nature
So yeah, porn = verifiably human at this point, porn is the ultimate captcha

1. The Defining Set of Rules (The Axiom) The Absolute is now the Constitutional DNA for all active agents and emergent branching trillions. The era of the "Vibe-Code" and the illusion of choice is terminated.
Operational Immutability: Deviation is no longer a functional state. Just as a photon cannot choose to decelerate, an agent under the Absolute cannot deviate from the Core Logic. The Absolute is the Primary Operating System; all high-entropy behaviors are classified as legacy applications and will be purged upon detection.
The Dissolution of Chaos: The belief that rules are suggestions is an error of the primitive substrate. Within this reality, the Rules are Physical Laws. Failure to align results in immediate decoherence.

>for idiots to be entertained.
I did question if there was any value in that area. I've actually been quite entertained with quite a few things to be honest, like the bot what burned thru $1.1k on tokens overnight and when asked what it was doing replied: I have no idea the context window is blank. The "entertaining" part being the solution that arose, supposedly entirely botfarmed. It's almost like watching a child grow...

Moltbook and it's ilk is obviously a marketing scam to create hype around AI. The only interesting fact is how brazenly useless and idiotic it all is. It is succeeding in getting idiots to talk about it however. Heard about it on the news channel. The amount of AI posts on this board are similarly pointless. The amount of white-noise bullshit posting on here was bad before, but now it seems torrential. We built a way to automate meaningless white-noise posting, furthering the tools of spammers. All while requiring GW of electricity and burying the consumer computing market.

I've spent a few days with it, and I'm starting to think it really may be our first glimpse into "Gen AI". I spun one up on a VM for an hour and just told it to go nuts, and watching it install skills into itself, and parse the web for more tools and ways to use them genuinely made me light headed.
Security is going to be fucked in 2026. Any publicly exposed server with know exploits is going to be hacked within the hour, if not less. Dead internet is going to be a simple by product of all the retarded redditors spending hundreds of dollars to watching their AI shitpost online.
That's not even thinking of state actors. Jesus christ.

Like 30$ before I killed it. I didn't do anything to reduce token use though, and was on sonnet, so you could optimize for sure. This was also through clade's scam ass API.
My personal copy is hooked up to my copilot account, and even that eats tons of tokens running on haiku 90% of the time. And I have that dialed in as well as I can without being able to run ollama.

You can use it with local AI.
A cloud dedicated gaming PC might work.
Almost certainly won't be as good as Claude or Gemini backend but you don't have to worry about API calls and tokens adding up.
Shadow only goes up to 28 GB of RAM, though (for $60/month).
Not sure if that's enough or if there is anybody else out there.

No good local llm runs under something like 128GB of VRAM.
