imagine using such a piece of shit software that you have to buy a SEPARATE piece of hardware just to separately use it.

I have a failing PSU so I have to be careful not to do anything intensive or it will instantly power off.

I also have a 16gb 9060xt which loves whenever it detects a "high intesive scenerio" to use a SHIT ton of power which will kill it. That's why its windowed until I can order a replacement.

Anon I respect the hustle of working with a dying power supply, but holy shit get a new one ASAP before your entire system gets fucking fried.

I don't even what your sr is proving, but gnome is okay. It's literally the only option for employed people. Tho, I haven't seen a gui in weeks. I just switch into a console as soon as I'm on a wm screen.
Doesn't make ebusy-gnome any less of a lol cow even if he's low-key right and quite tame.

Last time I used GNOME, it couldn't even capture the cursor within a game window, so everything was unplayable unless I used gamescope with --force-cursor-grab. So much for being a "justwerks" DE. Didn't have this issue on KDE btw.

I know but like KDE just looks really ugly to me..
Its like if you took windows 7 and windows 11 and mixed them together in a unholy way.

yeah i should have clarified that going into the sleep state works, but it breaks hyprlock so i would have to go into another tty and kill the current login session which was obviously insane
