Not really, but acting like every exploit and undisclosed vuln is a backdoor is retarded. The actual backdooring of dual EC DRBG, skype, bitlocker uploaded to entra, foreign phones is actually fucked and the manufacturers are fucked for setting it up that way.
My distinction is that backdooring something is asking companies to make their software less secure on purpose which makes the NSA and companies worse than leaving software as is with an undisclosed vulnerability and exploiting it. Does that make sense? I don't disagree the NSA has backdoored things, but even the article the last anon linked had nothing to do with backdoors.
