I guess ByteDance chose to lower the bandwidth priority for their international brand as they were bullied by the pawns of Jewish capitalists to give it up. Sometime in mid-2023 they deleted all their 720p videos and for some months there was only low res, low bitrate videos until they implemented a new transcoding scheme for HD videos. Even technologically illiterate normies on the platform noticed that older videos now look like shit.

Nonetheless it's a great platform as it is home to many great videos but yes you should be careful of the FYP.

I too am a zoomer who've never even tried tiktok or any it's clones even once. But I don't think about it to the point of getting depressed and wanting to leave society.

Take steps to avoid seeing the tiktok like videos on other platforms. Install an extension to your browser that blocks the tiktok like videos from loading. If you don't like seeing recommended slop videos on youtube install the "unhook" extension to your browser.
