02/03/26(Tue)17:34:18 No.108051291 You can try, but others probably already mined the e-waste recycling centers. Also companies love to remove the drives and RAM before throwing their stuff out.

The degree of waste is sad, but what's the alternative? Give these old PCs to turd worlders and getting even more of them online to shit up the internet even more? No thanks.

This only works in third world countries. In first world ones, like the EU, we don't throw our garbage in nature like this.

If only those SSDs work that's like 1000 bucks easily. RAM might be a tougher sell as they're small sticks.

I'm curious about this too. I always hear about people "just heading to their local e-waste facility" but I can't find any 30 miles from me. How are they seemingly common while also nowhere near me?

If you can, go for it yes. Any place here that has computers as scrap or recycling guards them and won't let anyone touch them. They are stripping it themselves.

- is bad, you don't need everything from the '?' onwards, and as anon notes, that part of URL is used to track who posts the link and who visits it. Strip that '?si=blabla' part:
- your link still works fine, you just removed the tracker.
