Mozilla needs to focus on making Firefox good again with cool not cute style. This means providing more off switches in the UI and not buried in about:config for all the bloat they added. (The AI off switch is a good start) Also they need to start marketing to gen alpha and younger gen z instead of relying on their ageing millennial cohort that embraced Firefox in the 2000s. This means marketing Firefox for Android better and make it actually good by allowing unrestricted extension support and fix the space in url bug so you can edit Wikipedia with it.

I'm currently forced to use Vivaldi since Firefox is so bad right now but if Mozilla actually gets someone with a clue to fix their code and get more sponsors outside of Google to become more financially independent then they could have a chance again. I suggest they ask Claude to review the entire Gecko codebase as a test of AI.
