Unironically gave me more problems in the two weeks I tried it than Arch did in the several months I've been using it.

I thought so too, and happily used this combo for 2 years without any issues. Then the Plasma 6 update came out, and since Arch was on the bleeding edge of that I got absolutely raped by what a broken-ass release it was. The experience made me much more wary of using a rolling release distro and I switched to Kubuntu LTS for a while.

I dislike how arch has no "default" install, like the "intended" way of installing it that it's maintainers and creators use. I don't really see how it can ever be setup properly or be reliable if everyone has a completely unique setup that's completely untested.

I bet you also think vsync doesn't cause lag just because your epic gaymer brownshit puter can handle it.

vsync causes input lag and gets rid of screen tearing, nowadays using a proper high refresh rate monitor with extreme overdrive mode enabled and functioning vrr makes vsync borderline unnoticeable in games unless in most extreme scenarios where raw mouse input is super important like in competitive games, but there's zero reason to not use it in singleplayer vidya or casual vidya as its not noticeable at all. again you're a neet poorfag.

KDE menus have too many options. I installed Fedora KDE, went into discover to get all the updoots, wasn't too overwhelmed or annoyed yet. Restarted after updoots. Decided to go into settings -> monitor settings to see what's up and set my resolution/refresh rate/vrr properly. And I'm instantly met with like 50 billion confusing options I don't understand, instantly deleted the OS and moved on. GNOME is nice because it only has the settings in GUI that make sense, if you want to do some weird tinkering you can do it through terminal.
