How many hours can an electric bus run before it needs to recharge, and how long does it take to recharge? Electric buses means basically 1 bus driving while 1 recharges, you gotta double your whole fleet. Retarded idea if I ever saw one

They seem to be just fine. I live in Helsinki in Finland and we have a very big amount of Volvo, BYD and Yutong electric buses. Seems like only bugs are making commercially viable electric buses. Even with it being -10 to -20c here they seem to run fine, my understanding is they equip them with features that enable heating up that the base models don't have. I don't see any more breakdowns than what happened when most of the buses ran on diesel or natural gas even though those buses were from real manufacturers not chinese shit.

How can one person be so stupid? Do you just talk about shit you know nothing about, and assume whatever shit you make up is correct?
>Yes, batteries lose significant, albeit often temporary, charge and operating capacity in the cold. Freezing temperatures increase internal resistance and slow the chemical reactions needed to produce power, causing performance drops of up to 60% in car batteries and 10-15% in Lithium-ion,.
>Key Effects of Cold on Batteries:
>Reduced Capacity: Cold causes the electrolyte inside batteries to thicken, reducing the ability to hold and deliver a full charge.
>Increased Internal Resistance: Cold temperatures make it harder for electrons to flow, leading to lower voltage output and faster, temporary draining.
Nigga, I have a battery-powered vacuum cleaner and in the winter, when the house is slightly colder, that thing lasts about 10% of what it does when the house warms up. But if I leave it for some time next to a heater, guess what happens? The battery lasts longer!

Ancient people found them so fucking boring that they invented a bunch of bullshit stories about them just to try and keep them interesting. Why are you so enamoured by them, yet refuse to move to a remote location where you can stare at them at your leisure?
