>Not sure what private trackers are all about? A private tracker is an invite-only torrent website. Each member shares common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media.
Remember the following: >READ THE OP BEFORE MAKING A FUCKING QUESTION YOU RETARDED FAGGOT >It doesn't matter if you use the same username in different trackers, the staff still share your IP with each other. >Staff is reading, being /marked/ is not a meme, and even if it is, it isn't. >Don't ask for invites, it's private for a reason. >If starting out you should interview for RED, rank to Torrent Master, wait on account age, and get invites from there. THAT'S IT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO
Daily TorrentLeech admiration post. >in it for the long game (2 decades+) >opsec in tight fucking order >made millions in bux >buffer system to pay off HnRs essentially making everything free leech

oki i have a question. im on the trackers i need (ptp, btn etc.) and have been so for like 10+ years at this point. i used to be on wcd and mutracker, and was fairly active there. when everyone switched to pth/red i did too, and i was on red a while but i just stopped torrenting music by then. so my account got disabled for inactivity. i dont have niche musical interests, at least nothing that i cant find on soulseek. does it make sense to try to get back into red? or are there any like tier 2 music trackers that are relaxed? if i got back on red could i survive as a seeder?
>>108925491 Not true at all. RED has a superior catalog. I use OPS because of the token system when I can but I uploaded so many things that aren't on OPS to there from RED.
I recently joined BHD, and I will be able to join PTP and HDB in a few months. My question is: do I still need KG and CG if I'm on those trackers? Or will most of the content from there be reposted to PTP and HDB? Also, is there an active user invite thread for KG and CG on those trackers once you rank up to a higher userclass?
what was the program that RED freaked out about a few years back that made it so your torrent client uploaded each piece to the whole swarm one by one?
>>108925517 >Guys I don't think usenet is going to survive the hdd price hike Nah, they saw it coming better than we did. We're going to have to ride it out just the same. Hopefully 2027 will bring prices back to normal.
>>108927954 seriously what the fuck is wrong with ggn, its been 2 weeks and i cant download or seed shit but there are torrents with 200+ snatches ?? how ??
Imagine wasting your life in the uoohh tot retardation. Grow some balls and have some respect for the life that was given to you by your parents. It's mental illness.
>>108928693 NTA but try to change the timeout settings maybe? I don't know if you can do that but I'm going to assume that you can in qbit, might be in the advanced settings. A lot of times these "tracker issues" can be circumvented by upping the request timeout because often the tracker isn't down, it's just really slow to respond (slower than your timeout settings) so that could maybe get it to work again.
>>108926558 I have waited 2 hours or more for a single album to download on OPS. When that single seeder is in China you can be pretty fucked. But the lack of ratio cost still makes it worth it. It's something I can bitch about but I will put up with anyway. Worse than that is when you see a torrent with 0 seeds on OPS and there has been activity within the last few days so you don't want to waste a token but you hop on the swarm and wait knowing you'll probably get it eventually.
I also want to add that looking through my own uploads to OPS that I cross uploaded from RED there are a lot of "how did they not already have this?" type things. It's been a minute since I found one of those but it's still funny when it happens.
>>108930356 Only if you're trying to get ancient torrents. They unrar everything now. Also they mirror a lot of p2p content these days. Rars are the least of your worries when the site provides a way to hit and run without punishment.
>>108931107 Always has been. Have backup trackers/usenet/public sources for when you need them. While GGn is actually up download the stuff from there that isn't easy to find elsewhere en masse.
>>108927868 >memory prices will drop, just wait >>108927749 considering some hyperscalers are pulling out of their "intent to purchase" deals with manufacturers, 2027/8 could be on the table for non-chinese RAM to get back to normal on the market. if we're still waiting on china to flood the market with cheap RAM, it's going to be another 3.5-4 years.
>I'm sorry this "BS" has inconvenienced you. I've refunded the $0 you've provided via donations... /s the complaining user seems like a tard, but a snarky reddit mod post doesn't help in any way. are they allergic to making a professional status update?
>>108931568 The items/crafting/bullshit systems are the most pointless bloat ever conceived. I appreciate the autism required to make it work, but if this shit is causing problems for the actual tracker then let it go. 99% of users don't care about it.
>>108932797 They're deleting and blocking certain files. I don't know where they're hosted, but according to Reddit (yes, I know) it's probably France, which is becoming more strict in terms of piracy, especially with all the default judgments since pirates never show up in court, and "they" abuse that with mass complaints. Honestly they should move their servers. Usenet got an out of jail pass in the Netherlands (News-Service Europe case), because hosts and ISPs in general aren't responsible for their client's actions there.
Trying to cross seed between 2 trackers. The file is identical - same size, same name, but when I try to force recheck on qbittorrent it won't recognise that it's the right file. What could be going wrong?
>>108934061 I have fallen down a rabbit hole of watching repair videos made by pajeets (I wish something else existed) and trying to decide which tools I will use to accomplish the job. A lot of things are starting to make sense now, except what I have done with my life to end up here.
From what I understand, Indexers don't like it when you share an API key, but how can they tell when multiple people are using it? If I have two separate PCs in two separate locations and they both use the same API key, will the indexer ban it?
>>108934247 yes. At least omg/in, some other indexers might not care. Also, you have to set up nzbhydra2 in a specific way so api requests get routed to omg/in and not simply proxied. this is because you theoretically cut run hydra on a vps and share it with however many people you please and omg/in would be none the wiser. I'm pretty sure you could vibecode a solution to that though.
What happens if autobrr tries to download the same episode to the same folder from different trackers? Nyaa announces a few minutes before AB announces, so I figure it's a free cross seed if it finishes in time. As I understand it, if only 80% is downloaded the AB announce will recheck and start a concurrent download of the last 20%. Is qBittorrent smart about this or am I about to fry my HDD?
>>108934247 Yep I just setup usenet this week, it replaces/complements some of my torrent use. it works with stremio so I ditched debrid services. there's also some scene stuff which I want to check out before the backbones die...
>>108935071 >collect trackers on the way to cabal >realize cabal isn't special and the mid tier ones fill all your needs maybe the real trackers were the ones we collected along the way
>>108934986 >What happens if autobrr tries to download the same episode to the same folder from different trackers? idk about autobrr specifically but if it's exact same hash and all it would probably try to add the other tracker to that torrent, which is not a good idea. you want separate torrents pointing at the same file for private trackers. you want File1.mkv to have torrentA ptp and torrentB ath
>>108935681 This is what happens when normies learn about private trackers. They want to get in but lack a reason to do so. Maybe it's a pajeet thing/kind of behavior where they cope with inferiority complex.
