I really really really really hate synthwave like you wouldn't believe. People take this one singular aspect of 80s retrofuturism and make it the only thing that pops up in google image's search results when you look up 80s aesthetics. Holy fuck shit do I fucking hate idc if you guys call me a sperg I have this deep visceral hatred for that aesthetic. Maybe it's the oversaturation, or the fact that it's performatively retro. What happened to the other stuff associated with 80s retrofuturism like in pic related? Is it not "80s" enough for people or what
