Pixiv really wishes they could geoblock everyone that isn't in japan and be done with it
They pretty much do a wink and a nudge to have everyone pretend they are japanese each time they do these kind of updates

Still worrying. I'm gonna use pixiv with a VPN from now on, just to be sure. I knew it would come, but it's still very unpleasant. The EU is strange, there's no law yet that would apply to a site as small as pixiv.
>>
Fuck, what are we Europfucks even living for? Live's going to shit, our governments hate us, we are being replaced and no one does anything because all are sheep, Our last bits of joy are stolen, we won't have money and they might expect us to fight Russia soon. God, at least you Americans still have a chance, I see none for us.

Same shit goes on here in the US just on a state level. You're supposed to have to age-verify to access porn in my state but it's really badly enforced and only affected a few big sites. There's nothing stopping some dumb bitch from raising a stink about [your favorite website] to get it added to the shitlist though.

not on the NEW list, because they've already been on the list a long time:

You have. You are a continental fortress, this gives a TON of positives.
>>8756957
I know. It's just everything. Everything in Europe is so fucking bleak, I don't even know. This is /pol/, so I will stop, but we have problems no one even talks about openly, because they're too uncomfortable (not migration).
>>
>>8756127
Just use a VPN and upload an AI image or something if necessary. Japan probably don't care all that much if the more tech savvy users found ways to circumvent region blocking on porn sites anyways, they're just trying to appease baka gaijin puritans

Nice. Most of these are fetishes for subhumans and people fucked in the head. Stick to watching fat butts, big tits and sexy ladies having sex instead of lusting over corpses, torture and mutilation you piece of shit freaks.
I hope they add mechabare to this list eventually so that I can fap to robot girls without having to see borderline gore every 5 minutes.
Nothing burger also. You can just set your country to Japan but I hope this at least filters more gorefags and similar crap.

They didn't choose which terms to pick, and those in US/UK/EU who picked the terms don't distinguish drawn content. Unfortunately, it is not a requirement for laws to make sense, figuring that out is a job for the courts.

>>8756481
It's literally what the people voted for and constantly encourage. So no need to get so angry anymore because you can't influence how other people think unless you hold high authority. Just try to enjoy yourself and take pleasure in knowing normies are suffering the most as you detach yourself from everything.
>>
>>
The replies in this thread are genuinely funny but porn 100% gets banned across the board in every single country within the next 10 years almost guaranteed. The reason they're going to do it is simply a matter of survival. And pornography is an exceptionally good target vector especially AI Pornography. If you nutters had a brain youd blame yourselves for spamming this shit everywhere and drawing a target on your backs.
>>
>>
>>8758211
>The reason they're going to do it is simply a matter of survival
no, it's because they want to turn the whole world into a Muslim country and they don't want their imported bioweapons looking at porn all day. Plus making other people suffer is the cherry on top. They have people hooked on porn so now you got to be a good goy to get it back.
>>8758200
Even if they don't nobody ever does anything about it. People are too addicted to their netflix and sports.

What does that mean exactly? I actually posted stuff regularly over the past years though I stopped 2 months ago. Doesn't fit with what was written in the OP but what's the worst that would happen? Delete uploads, or account? What's with my fanbox account that's obviously the same. Mind you I can also still use paypal with that one.
>>
>>8758242
>People are too addicted to their netflix and sports
Oh, they will care as soon as they can't afford food.
What's happening is that basically the West reached it's maximum possible growth, but the Elite has gotten used to MOA and follows the idiotic religion of Eternal Growth, and to keep the magic money line going up they started to leech their people dry. Most likely don't even realize this. Also not the first time this happened.
It will end badly for everyone. We could have lived a long time by accepting stagnation, but that word is to the rich what garlic is for vampires.
People at least noticed, that's why politics has gotten so extreme.
>>
>>8758772
>Oh, they will care as soon as they can't afford food.

You're definitely covering for some unsavory shit you're into for real, or you're just so mentally ill/retarded that you can't separate a drawing from reality. At the moment, not from a legal perspective; however, given Canada's tendency to suck all the UN cock it can get its hands on, it wouldn't surprise me if that changes in the future and Pixiv is just getting ready for it.

You think pixiv even cares about this rule? You don't even need a VPN to bypass it. Until the US/UK/EU realize that people can lie online, and demand this sort of detection process, pixiv would be retarded to say no to extra income.

Germany is joining the payment provider mafia game:
https://netzpolitik.org/2025/pornhub-im-visier-medienwaechter-wollen-n och-mehr-netzsperren-fuer-pornoseit en/
Article is in german, but you can use google translate.
Starting December 1st german courts can order payment providers to stop payments to certain sites that offer "unacceptable" material. The article points out that this can easily be expanded to non-porn areas (and it WILL happen).
This is arguably worse than the UK, in the end PayPal and the Credit Cards could ban germans from using Fanbox, Patreon or Subscribestar.
Note that this affects non-compliant sites for now, if pixiv simply blocks german IPs they might not care. Note that this could fuck over everyone, too. PayPal i.e. might just cut off all of Patreon.

So far non-binding. We can only hope that it ends up going nowhere, but we all know this will get adapted.
I rather prefer China or Russia now.
I recently talked to an eastern German who grew up in the GDR (he even served in the NVA) who flat out told me current Germany reminds him of the GDR in it's final stages.
Let's hope things get REALLY bad for the blodd suckers before they can establish their total control and become invincible.
With all those arabs and other immigrants destroying unity I doubt it. Population is too divided.
What does this have to do with pixiv? Expect it to get blocked in Europe.
VPNs won't help you, because I'm certain they will also block payments to fanbox etc.
Can chinks even subscribe for patreon or fanbox?
But the EU will be worse than China soon, at the China cares for the Han, Euro elites actively destroy their own people.

i've been confused for a second now at why a pixiv i checked up on every so often was basically completely wiped. but after a few days of that i noticed another was literally entirely wiped. but today after seeing a near-complete wipe of another, i finally had enough and came to /h/ to ask if i was missing something, when i searched "pixiv" on the catalog and came across this thread
skimmed the latest few dozen posts, but didn't really see a confident solution. the 2nd reply to the thread suggested changing location to japan (until now mines was never set), but nothing changed for me. i did see >>8771472 dated literally three weeks ago, but i didn't try it, since i assume it'd be suspicious for me to change locations <5m apart from the last change. is there any way to see all the content again?
tl;dr; how fix
>>
>>
>>8787364
are you asking me to post a URL? it's hard for me to find an example of a pixiv missing shit, since i can obviously now only see what is still there, and unless i have visited it prior to know i'm currently missing out, i am none the wiser. but here is one example, assuming you meant the user page, and not me somehow producing a link to media hidden from me:
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/60662984
>>
>>
>>
>>8787507
are you saying that because of what's in the pixiv? well i'm fucking sorry that of the 3 pixivs i checked before figuring i might've been missing something, the most socially acceptable one was someone who drew dickgirls with dark dicks and sometimes smegma
>>8787513
there used to be a lot more. it was kind of abandoned compared to their twitter, but for example, take this one, which i just found by reverse image searching random images on their twitter on saucenao until it was a hidden one:
https://x.com/payaazz/status/1679928962460286977
https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/110389339
>This work can not be displayed in your Country/region
>About location settings
>>
>>8787518
ok, i guess changing my location from my pixiv user page (pixiv.net/usename) was just changing what it would show others (provided it was visible), but where the "About location settings" instructed to change it (settings > Language and location > Country/Region) enabled seeing all the content again:
https://www.pixiv.help/hc/en-us/articles/26578893289881-I-can-t-browse -certain-works-from-the-country-reg ion-where-I-live
https://www.pixiv.net/settings/language-and-location
so nvm i figured it out, i guess
>>
>>8787496
I see 54 posts with JP region and no filters
Kind of wish I couldn't
Setting region was buggy for me. When I reloaded my settings page it didn't show any different, even after a couple tries, but when I went to actually check art the restrictions were lifted. Just checked again and it seems to have stuck now.
>>
>>
>>8787526
>Kind of wish I couldn't
ok well my bad, damn. i didn't expect a thread over a month old and with over 100 replies to not have an example link, or anything, but in hindsight i guess it didn't. but i also didn't know what was being censored anyway, so i wasn't sure i could just search "loli" or something on gelbooru and find a more socially acceptable link. i'm not an /h/ regular, and i can see everything again (i assume), so i'll just close the tab after this. my bad tho
>>8787528
yeah, idk if's just the same amount of censorship for all regions or whatever, but i thought i saw a post earlier saying that changing regions to a specific one made them see even less content, but i can't immediately find it, and am too lazy to find it now since my issue got figured out already (as far as i know). if i eventually somehow find i'm still not seeing everything i'll come crawling back, though

Beaner anon here.
Just set your location to Mexico, bros.
Porn is already illegal in Mexico but the gov doesn't and will likely never enforce it because it is too poor to afford to enforce it, both IRL and through internet means. It also makes a fuckton of money so that's another reason.
I have not changed my location at all since making my Pixiv account and I have never been hit by any of these restrictions.
I, whoever, am not into the most hardcore stuff on that list.

Posting this here because that thread on /g/ is now archived and I’m not sure where to post this.
I did a quick search about the laws in Germany and found something interesting. It doesn’t look like anyone has pointed this out in the responses to Gelbooru’s tweet. If what Wikipedia is saying is not outdated or otherwise incorrect, then loli is legal in Germany. And unlike the USA, it doesn’t seem to have the same obscenity gray area.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_status_of_fictional_pornography_de picting_minors#Germany
And we know that the image they reported to cloudflare is lolicon.
>>
>>
>>
>>8789760
It's a gray area. Distribution or buying it is illegal. But if it's not "too close to reality" (whatever that means) then possession and viewing is legal. Whether it really is legal may depend on a case by case basis, but I'm no expert in this. I only heard once that someone supposedly got v& for lolicon. Realistic AI generated stuff is definitely illegal if it looks like real. Only the german police is allowed to generate and distribute realistic CP.
The gelbooru admin would probably get arrested in Germany for hosting fictional CP, but I'm not entirely sure.
Like all sites that don't have an effective age verification, gelbooru should be blocked in the eyes of the authorities. The idea is that porn is harmful to children, so as long as they can easily access it, the site would be operating illegally in Germany and needs to be blocked. But currently, you can access even very well known sites like pornhub from major ISPs without issues. They're trying their hardest to censor more effectively.
They're more successful with illegal streaming sites (copyright violation involving content like mainstream movies) for which hundreds of domains have been blocked via DNS manipulation. It's transparent, here's the official list of blocked domains of from the official (!) site: cuiiliste.de/domains
>>
>>8789585
I was, and I did, didn't help since I'm a weirdo loner.
I also suffer from the grey spot of not fully dedicating myself to one side ideologically, I wasn't married to the Left back then and ditched them the moment they embraced Islam, and I'm not married to the Right now. I was only ever a Lefty because they had a better track record on censorship in the West back in the old days, never liked multiculturalism or pacifism. I was horrified by Islam the moment I understood what is was, before 9/11, when I was 12 or 13. I wondered why we had to accept those people.
>>
>>
>>8789776
Kinda funny, I want every one here to remember how they were as 13 years old. The idea that a "child" is something that spontaneously ends at 18 is stupid, Beavis and Butt-Head are very accurate exaggerations of a typical teenage boy. We all were a bit like that, even if it was just in our heads. I started masturbating when I was 10 and had just hit puberty.
And we all grew up with erotica in some way, and the shit we watched on the Internet was extreme (back in the day you could stumble over cartell execution vids on Youtube).
The Internet probably was never as safe as it is now, better filters, better technologies for parental control, you have to go out of your way to find extreme stuff etc.
>>
>>8789782
The reasoning for this stuff is all kinds of bullshit and questionable, flawed, or outright wrong from the scientific perspective.
It sure is funny how they're pushing this hard to establish a censurship infrastructure because PROTECT MUH CHILDREN, while at the same time they tell every kid "here's your mobile phone with dangerous groomers on it (which we regularly moral-panic about in the media) and the devastating effects on your mental health for many other reasons, have fun using it unsupervised"
I truly wonder why these people brains are so full of shit, they're basically the same methods they accuse populists of using, but they have no self-awareness.
>>
>>8790289
At the end of the day politicians of all parties are made up of people who want to climb the ranks and get wealth for themselves. You will never see philosophers or scientists in them because the drive and effort these put lead them to have no leadership skills. To become a leader it's necessary to be irrational, violent, unempathetic. Egotistical to sum it up. Politicians are made out of that, this will never be any different. It's probably easier to make a politician care about freedom of expression than to prop a philosopher into politics, and that's very hard because you would be competing in the hostile environment of politics where the rule is to virtue signal just to stay in the game.
As for the common person things will just get fucked more. Don't lose sight of what you think is right. That anon is right, call your reps.
>>
>>8756115
>Us may soon follow
Almost certainly. American companies like cloudfare are already bowing to EU and German laws that passed recently, despite having no legal reason to comply. A lot of the boorus down the chain are already taking heat and getting hit with these laws.
>>
>>8789591
I'm not sure what it is that's making people think otherwise. You go far enough right, your rights are limited. You go far left, same thing. Deep red states have been pioneering this shit at this time and being successful at it.
Always challenge your leaders, no matter your affiliation. Burying your heads in the sanda and thinking they're always going to do well for you is stupidity.

I don’t know if the organization was citing a specific German law, but here is something else to consider about gelboorus post. It’s possible the same outcome could still happen if that German organization applied American law.
The image that was blocked by cloudflare is loli (Anya giving a blowjob). So it may fall under obscenity laws in the USA, like this federal law:
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1466A
I will note that obscenity prosecutions aren’t very common.

Null hates Internet censorship, debanking, and fucking with hosting because people have fucked him over constantly through those things.
He will put aside his hatred over groups if it advanced his own interests.
On the other hand his site will be ecstatic over porn sites or anything anime adjacent getting fucked over as they hate porn and anime. His site is also overrun with basedteens and they even host all the porn artist doxes so I understand why zero people would trust the site at the moment.
Null is probably just going to give hosting advice, cloudflare alternatives, and how to deal with mass complaints which is something he actually knows about

Nothing is lost, Japs think they can actually on their own meanwhile they haven't produced anything apart from milking decades old legacy IPs.
Just download whatever you like, analyze why you like it, and start drawing stuff. Become a contributor, earn money, etc.
Corpa doing corpa tactics is nothing new. Stop bitching about like slaves whenever these corporations make any decision. Pixiv won't give you X/Y/Z stop using it. It's not some divine entity. Japs won't draw or release what you want in your region? Start drawing it yourself, form a community around it, share it.
Voting is a scam, the government can't exist without intruding upon you. They will keep finding ways to make "you" care about "them". This is why they wanna control sex/drugs, because they liberate you from these people, you start living with yourself, relaxed, etc.
>>
>>8791637
You still need to be a little careful when listening to what Null says. Here's an example of him spewing total bullshit. Albeit, I don't know if he was being remarkably illiterate/retarded or just decided to lie for some reason.
Kiwifarms previously used Epik as their domain name registrar. But, on 2023 December 12th, Epik briefly put a clientHold on the .net domain that kiwifarms used. 2 days later, Null says he was able to transfer that domain name to a different registrar called NameSilo.
Source: https://archive.li/00DHQ#20%
Epik suspended them for doxxing and mistakenly thought there was CP on KF, but that's not what we're focusing on.
Around that time, someone on twitter asks Epik:
>Why did you steal [the kiwifarms domain] from @XJosh ?
A while later EpikLLC repsonds:
>We didn't take that domain from the owner. We were forced to help the owner switch to another registrar by the US authorities. I believe it is registered in Canada now
Null appears and manages to completely misinterpret EpikLLC's tweet. He thinks the second sentence is Epik claiming they were ordered by the police to seize Kiwifarm's domain. So he says:
>This is a lie. Send me documentation from US law enforcement or retract this defamatory statement.
Epik mockingly replies:
>I think you caught us. It was woke liberal employees here cancelling you because they didn't like the hate speech on your site.
Archive of twitter discussion: https://archive.ph/O8wx5
Epik made other tweets stating they transferred the domain to Canada:
>We did not take kiwifarms. The owners were able to transfer it to a Canadian registrar.
https://archive.ph/WerNp
>Sorry. We were able to help them transfer their domain to Canada where it's outside of US jurisdictions.
https://archive.ph/Nlevl
The Canadian Registrar that Epik is referring to is probably NameSilo, which is registered on the Canadian stock market: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NameSilo
>>
null becomes totally convinced that Epik is making up a court order (which they never did):
>You claimed [...] that you received a US court order to remove us.
http://archive.today/2024.03.21-014911/https://twitter.com/XJosh/statu s/1749889255113912619
>When confronted on this, they lied and said they had received a court order to do so.
http://archive.today/2024.01.22-215909/https://twitter.com/XJosh/statu s/1749268170639069383
>On December 12th, 2023, they seized kiwifarms.net without warning. However, they did eventually offer transfer codes after sufficient public complaining.
>Months after, Epik began responding on Twitter to negative posts they had received for putting a clientHold on our domain. They lied and claimed they had received a law enforcement request to seize our domain. When confronted on this lie, they made a snippy remark: "I think you caught us. It was woke liberal employees here cancelling you because they didn't like the hate speech on your site."

Null was even trying to crowdfund a lawsuit over this:
>Epik LLC has made two claims on X :
>1) They were forced to put a clientHold on kiwifarms.net by Law Enforcement, which we evaded by moving the domain out of the country.
>2) That the Kiwi Farms "hosts child porn".

>Epik suspended them for doxxing and mistakenly thought there was CP on KF, but that's not what we're focusing on.
One more thing
From what I can tell, null misunderstanding what Epik said about transferring the site came first.
Epik saying they thought the site had cp came about a day later.
So it’s seems like he was already misunderstanding stuff before they accused him of anything.

well just wanna post this here because i dont see any other pixiv threads, but just noticed that when you hover over a thumbnail, to see the enlarged picture, you can scrollwheel through all the images of the set.
blew my mind. dont need to actually open the page to see the others, you can just check real quick

Section 230 is the very basis on which the internet works. It doesn't count communication providers as publishers, therefore they can't be legally held liable for anything a user writes (but the user can).
It's so essential that it should become an amandement. Without it any site would be hold legally responsible for anyone publishing politically incorrect content, essentially killing freedom of speech online (and not just there - IIRC the section was originally intented for telecomunication, basically preventing a telephone company being responsible for a crime if criminals use the telephone to coordinate or something).

This new AI editing shit added on Christmas Day may cause a (partial) exodus from Twitter. If there are any obscure artists' Twitter galleries you've been putting off from backing up onto exhentai (that aren't already on there), now's the time.
>>
>>
>>
>>8801932
What site do you think the artists will move to? Pixiv? Bsky? misskey? I wonder if they'll just scatter everywhere.
This is going to be annoying to me even outside the context of hentai. I expect that a lot of SFW japanese artists and artists outside japan will dislike this change.
I don't have the time to back up all the sfw art I like.

Kiwifarms is confusing because they constantly brag about all the pedophiles they expose yet got filtered by Sam Hydes wiggers messing with the information surrounding Marky
But I guess the Kiwitards need a high horse to stand on after actively making peoples lives worse because some artists drew shit they didn't like

Null is on record attacking anime and anime adjacent things. He's now a male feminist scold and has some retarded radical feminist e-girlfriend. He is not your friend and was probaby connected to the sharty retards that hacked 4chan and mysteriously agree with all his new soccer mom tier beliefs. I don't know how anyone trusts that retard after what he did at cripplechan more than 10 years ago. He's a complete fag, and things were better when he didn't have monopoly on lolcow stuff. I don't remember /cow/ causing anyone to suicide. The internet will be much better after he's gone. If you use his site for anything just remember that it also hosts people that want you dead more than twitter libtards probably do.

We are now almost in february, and these are still available to me, and I live in EU.

What have you guys done to help out?

he's wrong. TONS of content is blocked, just not the specific link he posted. you won't know it's blocked because it's invisible, it just won't show up. so you think you're seeing everything but you're actually not.
(of course there is still a way to get around it, at least for now, as already explained in this thread.)
it's hit and miss though; pixiv is using some AI to flag things as unavailable to EU/USA/UK. inevitably there are false positives and false negatives: occasionally things that "should" get flagged don't, and I've seen weird cases of things that absolutely shouldn't get flagged (vanilla busty adult women) get flagged and hidden.
>>
>>
>>8821718
>TONS of content is blocked, just not the specific link he posted
Dude I can literally browse a gore tag full of content like that, gore tag is showing a whole ass 7559 posts, 7809 if I enable AI posts.
So it's not just that specific link lmao.
>>
>>
>>8821881
>he can't read
I just said it, the gore tag... You can literally find it under the post I initially linked lmao.
But here you go, be spoonfed dumbass: https://www.pixiv.net/en/tags/gore
You probably gonna lie about the count anyways lmao
>>
This sucks. That explains why a great hentai involving momo from MHA got deleted before I could finish it.
Anyone have a website or the name of the author from pixiv that was deleted a few days ago? He would post mostly blacked and it seemed like non-obvious AI with great English dialogue. He would parody characters from different shows getting roughed up.
>>
>>8821882
you did not say "the gore tag", you said "a gore tag". in proper English, we native speakers would interpret the latter as implying "one of a potential variety of similar tags"; the former would refer to the *specific* "gore" tag. you're welcome for the free English lesson, ESL-anon.
moreover, as a good-faith gesture, although I don't particularly care for such content, I'd actually recommend the "グロ" tag if you like this kind of stuff. it has far more content.
anyway, you clearly have either set your region in the pixiv settings to Japan (as recommended by others in this thread as the for-now solution to this); or you didn't initially register your pixiv account in an EU country; or you do live in the EU but your ISP is assigning you an IP from some obscure IP-block that pixiv isn't recognizing (for now at least) as an EU country, but rather some other non-EU country.
I know for a fact that eurocucks, as well as limeys and yankees, have faced this problem.
so out of curiosity, what EU country are you residing in, ESL-anon?
>>
>>8822031
Yes I did say "a gore tag", a minor mistake on my part, fucking hyper autismo. All you had to do, was click on "gore" from that post I linked. I did not say guro, I did not say グロ, I said gore. And if you did try 2 of the only possible options, you'd see which one is correct, even if you couldn't put 2 and 2 together.
Fuck off with your retarded mental gymnastics that don't even make any sense. Learn to read something before commenting on it, aswell as reading comprehension.
Yes I am ESL obviously, as I am in EU, but I can at least read LMAO.
>you clearly have either set your region in the pixiv settings to Japan
>or you didn't initially register your pixiv account in an EU country
I have done neither, my location is actually set to my country.
>the EU
OP said EU, not "the EU". If you say just EU and then list other places like Australia and Canada, it's safe to assume they are talking about Europe, not European Union.
Or like the other anon listing it like "EU/USA/UK".
So maybe try to look in the mirror before talking about "proper English", because you can't even separate EU and the EU.
My ISP isn't doing any IP bullshit either. Looking into the link, OP is just retarded and quoted it incorrectly as it sayd the European Union
>I'd actually recommend the "グロ" tag
I don't really give a shit lmao, I hardly browse gore, and searching "guro" shows more than "グロ" does if you wanted to see absolutely everything. I just picked something to prove a point.
>what EU country are you residing in
Like I'm gonna tell some shitposter that lmao.
You had all the info you needed to figure out what I was talking about, but you couldn't let it go over a minor mistake while making even more yourself.
So I'm curious, what have you done in your life to contribute to anything at all?
I may be ESL but at least I know 5 languages and don't have to jump through retarded hoops just to browse shit :^)
>>
>>8822070
It does infact mean europe lmao. If you mean European Union, you would say THE EU, not just EU and then list other regions or countries along with it.
Literally google "EU" and you will find everything label it as "The EU", not "EU".
>of course EU/USA/UK refers to European Union countires + United states of America + United kingdom
No it does not. You're listing an organization and then 2 places. It's MUCH more logical to assume you're being consistent and listing 3 places, retard.
>no native English speaker
Just because you're retarded, doesn't mean everyone else is.
>you're wlecome
Nice typo, fucking retard.
>you are afraid
Nice ESL lmao
>it was very obvious
And so what? People who don't have room temp IQ can understand me, retards like you can't by the looks of it.
Of course someone is ESL when they're from europe lmao.
>>8822073
Oh okay, glad you admit to being ESL yourself lmao
>countires
lmao
>perhaps some day you will be able to converse in English without sounding like a complete and total retard!

Btw you can delete your responses, but you can't hide them. They are in the archive forever lmao
>>
>>8822039
>Yes I am ESL ...
lmao. yes, it was very obvious.
"EU" means "European Union", not "Europe". no native English speaker uses "EU" to mean Europe; it always means the "European Union". I gift you this additional English lesson, ESL-anon. you're wlecome.
anway, okay, so you don't actually live in the EU. that explains why you get to see all pixiv content. for now at least!
what, you are afraid I can dox you or something because you post on here what country you live in? of course not. come on.
I am just curious.
I"m guessing you live in some former yugoslavia country that isn't yet in the EU. or maybe Norway?
I'm just interested ESL-anon, do please tell!!
>>
>>
>>8822039
>Or like the other anon listing it like "EU/USA/UK".
that was me as well, ESL-kun.
of course EU/USA/UK refers to European Union countires + United states of America + United kingdom.
study more, and perhaps some day you will be able to converse in English without sounding like a complete and total retard!
at the very least, you can always hope!

>>8822084

>jannies
They do not give a shit, imagine worrying about jannies lmao, you really must be insecure, to fight someone over your own misunderstanding and then worry about jannies deleting your worthless messages.
>>
>>8822299
dude you're not going to "dox" yourself on 4chan just posting a cropped screenshot or saying what country you're from, you're insane if you believe that lol
the irony of calling anyone else insecure / schizo when you're this paranoid is apparently completely lost on you however.
I have to admit that you getting furiously mad, going on a tantrum and compulsively posting repeated defensive rants the moment I correctly identified you as ESL was pretty funny though. it seems I unintentionally hit a nerve; it's not everyday I find myself conversing with someone so thin-skinned on the internet. btw, just so you know, none of your bizarre attempts in this thread to point out errors in my or anyone else's grammar were correct. but that's just to be expected of ESL I suppose.
I'm not worried about the janitors deleting my posts. I just briefly questioned myself why I was bothering to argue with some chronically malding idiot on the internet.
so enough of this, you're annoying and seemingly brain-damaged or possibly insane, so don't bother to reply with another ass-blasted defensive tantrum unless you're gonna say what country you're actually from. despite what you keep insisting though, I do not in fact believe you are actually in the EU (remember ESL-anon, we in English use that abbreviation to mean "European Union", not "Europe" per se). rather, some Balkan state probably if I had to guess.
>>
>>8822494
>insecure
>paranoid
People already know plenty of stuff about me and giving away my location is one more data point people can use against me. Nothing to do with paranoia, shit is real.
Location in itself might not mean anything to a shitstain like yourself who nobody knows or cares about, but plenty people recognize me on /h/ from the way I write.
But go ahead, keep coping about how it's "correct" to simply say "EU" especially while mentioning other regions/countries, despite the EU not being a region or a country.
>I do not in fact believe you are actually in the EU
I've made that very clear, that I am not in the EU, this right here proves you can't even read lmao.
>we in English
The correct way is to say "the EU" not just EU, no matter if you're "English" or not.
>I'm not worried about the janitors
Yes you are lmao.
Also you don't need to know my country, it changes nothing. I'm in EU but not in THE EU.
You keep going on about me being ESL but can't even admit to being wrong about your understanding of the EU vs EU.
It's honestly quite pathetic that you're this retarded, even though English is the ONLY language you know lmao.
>>
>>8822103
come on. you really think he gives a shit if pixiv gets censored?
anyway, if anyone cares, from what I can tell the "gore" tag specifically has about 4%~ of illustrations missing for those countries that are region-blocked. which is hardly nothing, but I think pixiv is probably more concerned with loli and loli-adjacent stuff.
>>
>>8822495
>a shitstain like yourself who nobody knows or cares about, but plenty people recognize me on /h/
holy shit lmao. the fact you are so proud that people supposedly recognize you on an *anonymous hentai image board*, to the point that you actually believe it's an *insult* to tell someone else they aren't, is absolutely hilarious. ESL-anon, you are truly beyond parody.
>The correct way is to say "the EU" not just EU
sheesh, just google "EU" and you can see all sorts of headlines referring to, for example, "EU makes trade deal with such-and-such". you think it's referring to the fucking continent of Europe? obviously not; the meaning is clear and unambiguous to everyone (except you). can you do that? can you google "EU" and see what a total retard you are? how do you not know this?
moreover, everyone (except you) in this thread understands that in the context of the OP, "EU" is being used to refer to countries located *in the European Union*. I'm starting to think this may even be less of an ESL issue (although you clearly have severe problems with that as well) and more of a basic inability to grasp context. what is the cause? brain-damage from head trauma? genetic defect? both?
> I am not in the EU
I stopped reading the entirety of your replies once it became clear they were all just idiotic, incoherent rage-posts. just like I'm not going to finish reading the rest of this one.
also, do you do anything but lurk here? do you have a life? I post something, leave and come back almost three hours later, open the thread and you've already replied with another moronic screed within 10 minutes of my post.
that's a rhetorical question though: go ahead and reply one more time since you are obviously incapable of controlling yourself from doing so, but I'm not going to read it and I'll just hide your posts from now on. you're wrong about literally everything you post yet can't help but keep doubling down on your own idiocy. just a complete waste of time.
>>
>>8822545
I never claimed to be proud about people recognizing me, infact I hate it.
Keep on projecting, ESLtard
>just google
If you did, you'd see that it's normal to say "the EU" lmao.
>go ahead and reply one more time since you are obviously incapable of controlling yourself from doing so
That's quite literally you, hypocrite Harold
>just a complete waste of time
You mean just like your entire life? Doing nothing else than mental gymnastics because that's the most excitement you're getting out of your pathetic day?
Are you unable to get attention anywhere else?
>EU makes a trade deal with
You seriously think that's comparable to "X is banned in EU/Australia/Canada/USA/UK"?
If so then you are an ultra delusional schizo and have no rights to call others for a schizo lmao.
Take your fucking meds.
>basic inability to grasp context
>brain-damage
Says the guy who was incapable of looking at the gore tag (which was extremely obvious) just because of a minor grammatical error LMAO
Literally peak autism moment right there.
>>
>>
ESL-anon, I just saw your reply and immediately hid it and won't be reading it, but I want you to know that you have said some very hurtful things and made me feel very depressed.
specifically, you pointed out that I, a mere lowly anon, utterly unknown on the anonymous hentai internet image board "/h/", hosted on the website "4chan", simply cannot compare to you, a Famous Anon beloved by all and known for your charismatic, witty and energetic if somewhat spastic posting.
I am simply devastated and don't think that I will ever be able to recover.

never seen anyone mention this here, but Pixiv is seriously cracking down on artists posting external links. even Jap artists posting links to DLsite, Melonbooks, Fantia and Fanza; and not even just loli/"""problematic""" artists, but fairly vanilla artists as well.
they started doing this back in summer 2023 immediately after the BBC published some shitty hit-piece about Patreon where Pixiv was only tangentially mentioned. I'm almost certain it wasn't a coincidence: Pixiv lost their in-app payment options literally a few days later, made some announcements, and a few weeks later got their payment options back. (who the fuck actually uses the pixiv app idk, but apparently quite a lot of people. fuck apps.)
they've been policing artists posting external links ever since, although enforcement is spotty.
it's gotten much worse in the last ~4-ish months though; I've seen quite a few Jap artists complain on twitter about getting their accounts temporarily suspended and having to delete links or sometimes even the posts themselves. I know of more than a few that even had to wipe basically everything on their account and start over.
I'm sure Pixiv doesn't want to bother themselves with this crap. it's obviously pressure from Visa/Mastercard/Google pay/Apple pay/etc.
sucks because PIxiv was once a great place for artists to advertise their works for purchase; not anymore I guess. end of an era.
