before you do that, note that you can't remove torrents on sukebei. what you can do is hide them. but i don't think you're allowed to hide torrents for no reason. for example, uploading an updated torrent would be a valid reason to hide the outdated torrent. go to sukebei's IRC and ask them if they can restore his torrents.

You can't hide individual torrent pages, only hide them from search results.
Those with the link to the torrent page still can access it.

So you can have a library of your own that is powerful + you can download from any website but you need to make a custom extension with python to be able to parse the website and its stuff

Thoughts on the design so far?

Its going to be a tag based system so its just mainly a cover + series title then any other fields will be based of the tags you set, minimal and not opinion based. I've got the half working with the search sources

there are too many artists on fantia and associated sites shitting out 4-6 pages as part of their business model.
so you've got all these uploaders scraping through those artist's content and uploading it along with the variations of text/no text and bundled kr/en/cn translated versions.
on top of that you've got independent cn/kr/en translations (mostly machine translated on the en side) being uploaded as well which is adding even more volume.
at this point you need to just curate your own list of artists you like to follow and search independently from there instead of going through any aggregator site.

There's usually (not always) a full size torrent available for each gallery, and those are free. I don't know if a scraper has been built to go "torrent (added to a BT client) > original image download > website samples", but that's what I would do.
