Seriously? There was no such thing back then. At least not for private use. Recorders became wide spread in 1975. There were earlier recorders but no one could afford them. I bet you have never lived with out a cell phone or know a time before the internet!

8mm film was the original "home video" format and originated in the 1930s. "Super 8" improved image quality a bit and added a magnetic strip to allow for sound recording and was released in 1965. So home films might exist back to the 1930s (or earlier if someone was rich enough for a better format) but sound only from the late 60s on. Video tape camcorders for home use came out in 1983, so 80s home video is the earliest you'll find. But home film? That's been traded around for a _lot_ longer.
