Capitalism stifles innovation because failure is encouraged and the perception of progress is more important than actual progress.

It's more that capitalism never meant anything in the first place, all you're doing is circlejerking money and any information derived from capitalism would come from initial rents and not reality.

Yeah cool whatever, wake me up when communists win the Cold War.

All systems stifle progress and innovation eventually as their momentum fades and the elites drift into conservatism/reactionism to further increase their influence/wealth after taking all that said system would naturally allow them. It does not matter what system is used, as long as there's a change every 60 years or so.

Why do communists have all these abstract headcanon theories that never play out in real life?
>the perception of progress is more important than actual progress
Wasn't that also a problem in the Sovet Union with its faulty RBMK reactors and jet powered crop dusters? All these silly gimmicks that aren't actually useless. You can point to capitalist bullshit like halloween costumes for dogs and the tesla truck, but at least people recognize these as luxuries not utilities.

Daily remind that capitalism has existed through all human history. So called communism is just delusional Marx's theory where people supposed to work for free and without responsibility and leaders/managers/etc.
