I want to study anatomy but I have no clue where to start. I’ve tried countless of different books recommended to me, but all of them are super complicated, and don’t show me how the muscles look on the outside of the body. Oftentimes, the books don’t even show me how the muscles connect/work together…. I just don’t wanna draw limbs that look like Pringles cans anymore bro T-T

Pick a reference for a specific body part or pose and then spam it a lot

You start with the bones. The bones are the foundation of the anatomy and the hard point everything else builds off of.

Path 1 - hammer nails into your dick through bridgman or morpho
Path 2 - start body part by body part, google some shit like "arm anatomy drawing" and find any images that simplify the anatomy in 3-5 volumes, you know, those images where each part is colored differently. Do copies of these, then go to any pose website and grab random photos. Try to trace those shapes over the references, then try doing it on the side instead of tracing, and then put everything away and do it from memory. Repeat until you see improvement on your memory drawings, then move to the next part. Do arms - hands - arms with hands - torsos - torsos with arms and hands - head - full upper body - legs - feet - legs with feet - pelvic area - full lower body - full body.
