So which is better, iPad with Procreate or Wacom One screenless tablet.
I've drawn on an iPad before but I quit because I was gay. But I'm too poor to buy another iPad because I sold it. Should I save up and go in debt or just get a cheap wacom tablet.

If screenless and for line art then only intuos large. You dont get enough precision on anything smaller

procreate is great for sketching only when you find that 1 brush that fits like a love and you tweak the pressure settings just right

Don't buy an ipad you actual fucking retard. If you already had one and sold it you'll do it again. You sound like you're sporadic enough around this that you shouldn't be buying ipads for shits n giggles because u pinky promise u'll draw. Just buy a cheap screenless tablet. Unless you have juicy return on your taxes or find a really good deal on an ipad this shouldn't even be a question. The only reason you're even asking this is because your brain wants instant gratification to fuel short lived motivation. It's no different than the people who buy entire gym wardrobes, fit bits, earphones, supplements, bottles, a trainer and go for a week then never touch their gym again. Don't be that person. The facts of the matter are you don't need a shiny new toy to get started and that filters if you actually want to draw again or just want an excuse to satisfy impulsive decision making.

The ipad is unironically great. You'll find that the people who denounce it as worthless are truly stupid. They'll say anything other than the gear they use is awful in one thread, and you'll find them begging for advice on how to draw boxes in another. That being said, the ipad really is overpriced if all you want is a drawing tablet. But if you want a great device that fills multiple niches and you can afford it, then it's solidly in that S tier. But since this is 4chan I'll bet anything you'll end up as a nodraw in permabeg hell regardless of what you choose.

I think you should start with a cheaper tablet, I became high /int/ on a samsung galaxy tab, secondhand older models work straight up amazingly ans I have had this for 6 years and it still works great

I have a screenless tablet and an iPad, but I mostly use my screenless nowadays because of back and neck pain u get from constantly looking down on the iPad, also more layers. But tablet wise it’s not getting much better than an iPad if you care for mobility and quality

movinkpad 14 is the best

iPad / ipad mini
Because even if you stopped drawing you'd still have an iPad

This is what I use, with infinite painter. I had an iPad and I just didn't like the plastic pen on glass nor the locked in environment of Apple. What drawing apps did you like on there? I think I'm finally getting the hang of ip and have been enjoying it

I use ibis paint, it has a lot of great brushes, it has an amazing pencil brush which I find is usually lacking in other apps

yea bro dont consider the advantage of your tools
even tho new ipads are literal future tech and you can take them anywhere, sketch plein air, finish work while travelling and in general be more productive
but no dont consider all of that just be locked in and reductive like my epic retarded ass rofl
