You flip your canvas as you draw, not at the end

I flipped my art once and realized how retarded and face blind I was and never did it again. My mind couldn't handle it.

As hateful as it is, it genuinely helps you improve the final piece.

01/31/26(Sat)20:21:57 No.7871687 how did the old masters flip their canvas every 6 seconds without a huge room sized setup?
how did Michael and Gelo flip the Sixteen chapel's ceiling?

Means you observational skills are bad. You're just more sensitive to the features of people because it's literally encoded into your biology

flipping an image just forces u to view an image without the bias u formed while staring at it for a long time. u can get the same effect by stepping away from a painting or piece for a bit. for longer pieces i take a screenshot and put it on my phone. ill end up seeing it at some point during the day and notice all the ugly mistakes.

You get used to the image, that's why you might not spot mistakes. You either walk away for some minutes, or just flip the image.
