"England is" is correct when referring to the country as a single entity
, while "England are" is commonly used in British English when referring to the national sports team or as a collective group of people.
つまり、is は国家を指し、areはナショナルスポーツチームを指す (イギリス英語で)
もしかして、イングランドのクラブについて話してたんじゃないか?

One of the biggest reasons that motivate me to learn English is a thirsty for knowledge of the language.
It's a lot of fun to know something new about it.
To tell you the truth, I used to have zero knowledge of English when I was 10 or so.
Don't you want to know my English level I was at as a kid, do you?
Every classmate was able to spell their own names in the Latin alphabet in an English class....but me (for real).
I clearly remember that an assistant language teacher (English native) gently said "nice try" to me, lmao.

I learned English when I was 11 by talking to strangers online and playing games. It took me 7 years or more to become fluent because I had no knowledge of languages and no strategies. But of course the shared Latin vocabulary boosted my learning a great deal. As for Japanese, in 3 months I learned more than 1800 unique kanji, loads of katakana/hiragana words, grammar and some idioms from Twitter and eroge alone. I believe I will no longer need to mine massively after hitting 10.000 words, maybe even 8.000. Currently I'm at 5300 and it will take me about 2 months to reach that goal.

She showed me some comics she felt were bad but I think they're great and she shouldn't worry over them.

In that exact sentence or meaning? I talk a little differently in JP but I guess I'll try to make it around similar?
>Just now right, not only did I read just saw/read (name of comic) I also don't think you have to worry. (Over it being bad -omitted)
I feel like I phrased that sentence so many times. At first I was going to go with
>あのね、(title)を見たばかりでなくこれが心配していたことだと思ったって?
Or even something like
>読んだばかりでなく、心配しちゃった?
I just feel like how I want to say this is wrong I'm trying to explain the idea of: you were WORRIED over that? That's nothing? This is good. But I'm getting hung up on grammar I wonder if I just use ながら or something. It's been a long time since I tried to talk to people (create sentences rather than just read input/output)
>>
I'm also running on 36 hours no sleep so I guess I also apologize for my English as well.

The opposite. Rabbits only go into heat in the spring. Human beings are actually abnormal animals in the sense that they are in heat all year round.
The March Hare in Alice in Wonderland is based on rabbits' erratic behavior during this mating season.

So I can properly recognize and sound out hiragana and I'm decently familiar with katakana but I haven't been doing that many kanji/vocab words would it be a good idea to jump into playing japanese games I am familiar with now because I basically already know the plot or should I wait until I have most of Genki's kanji and a fair amount of vocabulary under my belt before starting to try to read?

There's something I'd like to ask you guys.
If I understand correctly, the only difference between "in heat" and "on heat" is whether it's American or British English, right?
If so, which one of "in heat" and "on heat" do you think is more common in English speaking countries except for the US and the UK?
In the end, is "on heat" prevailing in the countries which follow the British spelling rules?
such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa etc..
All answers are welcome!

Probably due to american media influence, personally I've only ever heard "in heat"
Actually it was news to me that "on heat" is even a phrase. Maybe just since I've never really dealt with animals who aren't spayed.

>彼は君をヘビが怖がるのかしらと思っている。
means that he wonders whether the snake(s) would be afraid of you.
>彼はヘビを君が怖がるのかしらと思っている。
mean the same as the example sentence.
Actually double use of が is not uncommon. You can always use this structure if it sounds well.
Another examples:
だれが背がいちばん高いの?
>Who is the tallest?
これが君が探していた本だよ。
>This is the book you've been looking for.
大統領がSNSがきらいな国もある。
>Some countries' Presidents dislike SNS.

Not really. It feels off.
>Shouldn't it be 彼は君をヘビが怖がるのかしらと思っている。
Your sentence needs correcting because it ends up meaning "he wonders if snakes are afraid of you"
A natural way to say it is 彼は君がヘビを怖がるのではないかと思っている or something like that.

That's the way I first had it but I put it into grok just as a quick test and it had said that it was wrong. Pic related but maybe you're right.
The perspective flip that happens when you use がる is kind of confusing.

Okay I scrolled all the way back to words I learned a couple of weeks ago. The result was 1/2 words missing as usual. These are complex compounds like 高確率で or 比喩抜きで and I can recall them easily, this isn't N4 vocab so redditors have no excuse to cope. If some words don't stick it just takes more repetition through Anki + reverse translation.
This method WORKS and it allows me to read eroge within months.

In my opinion, it's more like "you know what you/we gonna do next, right?"

I would pronounce it ごちんぼく.
It's obviously a pun for 御神木 (ごしんぼく).
ごちんぼく is often written 御珍木 in kanji and refers to a sacred tree that looks like a penis growing within the princicts of a shinto shrine.
