Anyway, I always like these threads because looking at old battle station threads here and on SA used to be one of my go-tos whenever I felt down (which as it happens is right about now...). Fun to look for more Japanese rooms as well, American ones are fun too but of course are the majority because I use the English internet.

It's also nice to see "lower-stakes" collections that are more sensible and compact; of course something like picrel is a very expensive collection, but one that's more attainable and responsible than most.
I also forgot to mention that I do really like seeing things like in the last picture where they've done things like getting a magazine display rack for their issues of Megami. Gives a lot more love and attention to something that's otherwise difficult to display full frontal (and I'm sure I'm not just biased due to the prominence of Louise on both that rack and in picrel). Store kiosks/stands are always great to see get continued use, too.

80's style otaku rooms are the best. that HiFi equipment, wooden furniture with neatly organized vhs...

Do I qualify as an Otaku? I love Loli, Vtubers, and I need validation from others or else I'll implode. Also shoutouts to the Jp users posting CRTs. Love them. Except the ones that make the loud ass high pitched screech.

Also for 720P-480P anime and games. I find playing on Quest 3 with Virtual desktop is best for visual clarity. Since you can change the screen size for optimal clarity. Weird but way better then playing 480P on a 4K, 1440p, or even 720P TV.
