Today marks nine years since the closure of March Rabbit Store No. 3, located on a back street in Akihabara (closed on January 29, 2017).
March Rabbit had a distinctive orange exterior, and the store mainly sold electronic goods, making it one of the stores that truly embodied Akihabara. After the store closed, the building was demolished and is now home to the Surugaya Akihabara Main Building.
Did you manage to visit this store in the past /jp/?

everyone will always doom post about how the "real akihabara was in X" I have been visiting since 2016, yeah it's different now but I mean how many shops do you need selling the same DBZ, Naruto, Gintama, shit in JUMP collections to visit before it's all redundant?

So you went there 10 years ago and couldn't see how everything was better?
Watching early 2000s akiba videos in youtube is fucking depressing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmVknI7ci8A

I went for the first time in 2022. It did indeed seem a lot more soulful in the past, but it's still nice to have a physical location where you could pretty much find anything eroge/anime related you could possibly want. I still enjoyed visiting Akihabara.
