saunabros and saunasis we are about to get a complimentary massage by the proprietress herself as big thanks for being one of the first paying customers of her newly established sauna spot after retirement from her previous work though she admitted it's her first time and she is still getting the hang of the techniques so we will teach her the ways of massaging the back and hard to reach places thoroughly and properly.
21st gen are growing on me. I realize now that they are very flavorful, AKS is getting good with the profiling of recruits. It's not just raw talent or charisma or "charisma", I feel that they also see if the girl would be able to work together with others thoroughly and properly.
>>51006871 >she is mogged when among akb members depends on the members, the only 19ki capable of "mogging" her just graduated, 18ki is worse. maru and ogasaki can mog her, though maru is hit or miss.
A sudden wetness of tears comes to my eyes looking when at Ibuki and Kurumi. What angels. What perfect creatures. We are safe with them. They are a safe pair of hands. We can rest. We are at ease.
geeks anons why did we not stare on /our neighbor's daughter/ deep unguarded cleavage that night and take a burst mode photographic memory of the haramdulila?
>>51012595 I would button up the buttons of her cardigan when it doth turn cold without. Within her buttoned-up cardigan she doth remain warm, and her thanks doth belong to me. Thanketh you, sayeth she.
>>51014014 Jeebus daist I just dream with Saaya in it, and I think I was a teacher and we were on a field trip and the other class where somewhere else, and we were alone in the bus, and I tried to tempt her inside the bus like Dr. Disrespect, and I got her number, but something was off, Saaya in the dream felt so innocent, yet it kinda made me wonder if she she was just feigning innocence and maybe set me into a trap, and I was supposed to meet her in her apartment, the apartment felt so big, I was supposed to go to floor 5, but there was another tenant and the elevator seemed broken like the doors didn't close but we didn't panic, and I got off at floor 8, and I had to walk down the fire exit stairs since I didn't want to use that broken looking elevator, and I walked down the fire exit stairs and at first it was ordinary looking stairs, but then after a floor down the stairs changed into something like the grand staircase in Hogwarts leading up to the common rooms, and I got lost and I walked around and I entered several floors and rooms, but I finally got out and was at the doorstep of Saaya's apartment. I was relunctant to ring the door bell as I sensed I might get Chris Hansened, but the urge to meet her overtook me and I rung the doorbell, and the door opened, and I was stunned, an adult female opened the door, I assumed when Saaya invited me to her place she would be alone, and the adult female happily led me inside and I introduced myself as Saaya's teacher and she introduced herself as her mother, and I asked where is Saaya's father, and she said the father died long ago when Saaya was only a toddler, and a whisper in my head said jackpot, and Saaya's mother was a looker and I'm not sure who is hotter Saaya or her mother, almost making me change my course towards her instead, but I stayed focused, it seems when I said to Saaya that if she wants I could teach her more about certain things privately and I looked at her in a certain way and her face lit up as if she wondered if she should take the proposal but maybe out of courtesy she agreed, and I realized Saaya thought I meant I was going to tutor her privately, and I went upstairs and knocked on her bedroom's door, and Saaya opened the door with the most beautiful smile and pulled my hand inside, and she was wearing a spaghetti strap stop and tight dolphin shorts, and I tutored her assignments since I had another thing to teach her not about school subjects, and later I couldn't hold myself anymore, and I rubbed her shoulders repeatedly like Justin Wong as if encouraging her (pic related), and at first she found it weird, but she got along with it, and I pushed further and I kept tickling her neck and armpits, and she laughed and it seems like she was enjoying it, and later Saaya would look at me with grateful eyes, and something in me made feel bad, I felt guilty, here she was thinking I was some sort of good geek who could be trusted but I was taking advantage of her like a Hupplepuff abusing access yet again
And in my guilt I said to Saaya that this would be the last time I would come here in her bedroom, and I would also retire from being a teacher, and I confessed I was actually sexually harrassing her without her knowing it, and I was really sorry about it, and I expected she would be shocked, disgusted, and maybe even horrified and shout and run outside, but as I was about to leave expecting jail time, Saaya said it's OK if I rubbed her shoulders and I looked at her and she smiled at me, and then he called me "papa" and pull my hand towards her as if she was almost begging me to stay. And in my joy, it felt like she saved my life, it was a stupid call to confess like that I could have just shut up and leave, but I was just overwhelmed by her own innocence, and now her kindness, I kneeled on her knees, and then I hugged her since her speaking "papa" to me kinda felt like a spell on me, and it's like an Imperio spell was cast on me and I instinctively carried her on my arms and brought her on top of her bed, and I tickled her whole body, tickled her with gusto, thoroughly and properly, like she was a child and I was her long lost father she never had, and she laughed so hard and I was so happy. But the urge kept creeping up on me, and then the dream ended. The loud noise outside woke me up, fuck that shit. I think I was about to kiss Saaya on the cheek or was already kissing her on her cheek when the dream ended.
Odd place to say this, but: despite how popular Japanese porn is online, it’s bizarre just how unpopular AKB and the rest of 48G are abroad, outside of Asia. You can spend a lifetime watching Japanese porn and never run into anything related to AKB, or anything about the members (especially the current lineup)
>>51015544 No Japanese idol group is popular outside of japan. Babymetal is the only one I hear but they are not a conventional idol group And it is good that they are not popular abroad. Abroad popularity brings way more criticism and hate. Sakura and Produce48 made AKB more popular abroad and the only thing AKB got from it is hate tweets add criticisms from 2018 till now.
>>51015735 48G otaku never cared about singing or dancing, sakura still thinks that applies in korea. Sakura lacks 0 talent in singing and I don't think training can fix that.
>>51015747 I’d say foreign male fans of AKB (and Japanese idols in general) tend to like JAV, but it’s never the other way around where someone watches tons of JAV and somehow they stumble upon AKB. Closest would be Yua Mikami since she’s a porn star, not because she was an idol
Kpop idols are amazing for combining intense dances with singing. I respect them for that but it is achieved with years of training that can't work in the 48G system. Good singers in Japan don't even join idol groups. And we have good singers in the 48groups who don't have idol skills so they just fade into the background
>>51015788 They are different groups of people Fans of Japanese idols are into Japanese culture, they may or may not like JAV. But foreigners who watch JAV are mostly Asians who watch it because Japan is the only Asian that produces porn.
>>51015898 Oh, I just remembered, I did mention before that SEA was a good analogue or test bed for marketability to the West with certain ideas, products, government policies, etc. Maybe that was why AKS expanded to SEA, it was a first step towards the West. KFC should have been a hit in SEAland buduhonest, it was catchy as heck, even the original costume was clearly based on SEAland majorettes, even the colors red white and blue was SEAland flag colors. Speaking of which, a last hurrah of the House of Manila.
Hama-chan Full moon, A breeze skims the leaves of the forest, All that I can hear. But I know she is moving through the forest, Moving towards me, Guided by the moonlight, Which illuminates me. I quiver in the grass. My final seconds are here. When I look down, Her blade is piercing my heart I never saw her. I wanted to see her.
>>51015988 Bc jpop is largely propped up by wealthy ojisans. AKB is finally getting new young female fans, though, who probably look up to the members as role models
>>51015784 I mean, this is obvious that 48G otaku don’t care about singing or dancing if you watch a single theater show stream. Very few members have genuinely good dancing/singing skills. And that’s the point, AKB members aren’t expected to be good at either
>>51015544 You aren't looking very hard. "national idol group" and variations on "lookalike"/"similar person". Predictably Tomochinalikes come out top.
As to why they aren't popular, distinct business philosophies that apply not just to idols but trucks and heavy machinery. Korea makes "Global X" (global idol music), Japan franchises and produces abroad for other markets.
Japanese brands have a fairly deep seated aversion to unilateral overseas ventures without a foreign partner. I don't know if its just too shamfu to compromise domestic products for a non-Japanese audience or whether they don't rate themselves as having the knowledge to do it. Too this day I still think AKB48 should book themselves an afternoon slot on one of the smaller Glastonbury stages. There is a small risk they'll get piss thrown at them but a greater one they'll get 20 minutes on BBC One and then who knows. A low Glastonbury was a huge thing for Babymetal back in the day, who are really just a spin-off unit after all.
>>51016284 That Glastonbury idea would be perfect for the new AKB48 band. Western audiences don’t care about cute girls doing karaoke (which is what most jpop comes off as), but they do care about performers who can sing live and play their own instruments
>>51016345 I don't honestly think they've ever seen it to think that. One of the greatest novelties they've got is sheer weight of numbers. I certainly don't think you want six chosen members or even the senbatsu, I'd go with the full 48 (or whatever we're up to these days).
Also I think j-pop songwriting in all its baroque pre-choruses and proper middle 8s and key changes and verses with 16 chords (not counting passing chords) has a lot to commend it now people are thoroughly sick of a 4-bar loop. Proper music innit.
>>51016958 The full 48 is truly something to witness. Everyone I’ve told in the US about harucon, that I’ve shown the concert videos is flabbergasted about the scale of the group
>>51016958 Forgot to say this earlier, but the part about western audiences is one of the biggest hurdles for Japanese idol groups right now. This is what the underground / less relevant groups like Zenbukiminoseida, pinponpanpon, etc keep running into. Ironically, those groups might be the ones to set the stage for our girls who are far more culturally relevant
>>51017243 Being culturally relevant is just about the most irrelevant thing you could be concerned with. We used to have a word for something that was "culturally relevant". We called it a fad. The whims of the culture change overnight, leaving those chasing it in the dust. Be yourself, do what you do well, appeal to your own fans. Fuck the culture.
>>51017567 I disagree with the 'cultural relevant', House of Akihabara influenced and inspired the idol landscape from Super Junior and SNSD from K-pop to the Hillfort of Nogi and Produce series. Maybe that was also what they should strive, to innovate as well as they improve. For one thing, I'm still real salty they didn't take a foothold in the increasing digital internet lifestyle of Japanese and didn't let the girls delve into Youtube as a stranglehold on the girls and """""exclusivity"""" greed mindset, ie. Google paid us to be on their Google+ platform they should pay us to do shows on Youtube. Also late yet again to go to Tiktok, ie. AKB48 = August 19, 2021, nogizaka = January 1, 2020, WTF IS THIS A YEAR AND A HALF AFTER COMPETITOR STARTED!!????!!!
>>51017567 You need cultural reference and influence to make $$$ and thus have more activities. Bunch of people I know don’t like that DH has few activities for the girls, and a big part of that is just due to how AKB is just not as relevant as =LOVE, kawaii labs groups, and Sakamichi
>>51016244 I don't know why they don't drop am elite group of good singers and dancers to release at least 1 song a year Members with good dancing and singing skills in AKB must be frustrated because their talent is hated here if they have no idol skills
>>51016247 AKB was chasing the kpop wave with produce48 and kpop sounding songs but it ironic that the groups who won are groups who release songs that sound way more jpop-y than any AKB song
>>51017847 It is a shame We literally have 0 activities now. The only interesting thing they have done this year is the sports competition but it is hidden under a pay wall
