Woke up after that. It was pretty nerve-wracking but also cool.

I always have the dream where my trigger weighs 1000lbs.

I came to this thread because I had a dream this afternoon about this very subject.
There was rioters in my small town I live in MN so go figure, me and my boss from work were going to go outside and give them the business, we each had a long arm and a magnum revolver and on are way outside I said let's stop by the kitchen cupboard for smaller back up handguns, I took my 327 and he took my colt defender. We put on our steel toes and went out to meet them..

And then I woke up.

Handgun, no, rifle, yes, and weirdly enough IIRC both times it's been my AR I have set up for hunting. Even a year or two later I've yet to actually sucessfully hunt with said AR lol. I hunt with 22LR mainly and it's exceedingly rare for me to see foxes and coyotes are even harder to spot; I can count those that I've seen on one hand. Despite that, I'm still considering a 22 mag.

You know how in Inception, you could "militarize your subconscious" to resist infiltration? It feels like we've been doing that accidentally, except self-militarizing against nightmares instead of Leonardo DiCaprio. I love shoot dreams, had one not long ago and posted it. Using .44 mag cartridges as makeshift earplugs is probably the most aggressively dream logic moment I've ever personally experienced, I'm surprised I didn't immediately turn lucid at that moment.

Whenever I have dreams about killing someone or being killed the dream always ends at the moment of death and I wake up. I assume this is because they aren't things I've experienced so my brain doesn't know how to project them.
