NTA. They are considered less lethal by cops who have been trained to only strike limbs with them and considered lethal by literally everyone else. A strike to the head with that can also kill.

I was under the impression that the right way to do it when hitting someone in the head to kill them with brass knuckles was to do a straight punch from your waist with your index and middle finger knuckles lined up with your wrist bones to prevent damaging your hand and wrist. You are supposed to hit with the part covering your first two fingers.

If you are hitting someone from behind or they are down you are supposed to hold your hand the same way as stiffly as possible and hammer hand them in the crown of their skull with the part of the brass knuckle covering your pinky finger and keep doing it until they have a noticeable dent in it.
