I would buy the shit out of that, my only objection is that the artist clearly doesn't understand how compact things like the 8 track, punch card and viewmaster can be with modern technology. It could easily fit a mini disk player, analog CB radio, laser rangefinder linked to a GPS, TV receiver, Baofeng and mini tape recorder as well.

I am well aware that the Baofeng makes a analog CB radio pointless, it stays.

The AA battery slot is comically oversized, it could contain a crank charger. Every mm that doesn't have a control or interface should have with Peltier effect sheets covered with solar panels so you can recharge it like the ammo packs from 40k las guns. The screen should fold out into three sections and be able to rotate and flip out so it can function as a solar panel.

The AA slot /keyboard is not needed, you can put that on the back as a cover for the speakers as well as provide additional surface area for passive power generation. Along with the hand crank that are is where you load the integral NAA .22 cylinder.

Convince me it isn't technologically feasible.

oh, uh, I don't post in those threads but I guess I can answer. I'd wager probably not as good as I imagine. still, it'd be something worth studying post-mortem, success or failure, and not some dogshit design by committee samey slop. a bad innovation can still be immortalized as a colossal failure; a bad iteration will be forgotten by history.

Basically just make this and serialize the trigger group. Maybe make a side charging upper in a matching style.
With the trigger guard the only hard requirement you could easily mix and match AR-15 and 10 parts with replaceable side panels and such I'm pretty sure it would be a quicker and easier machining process too
Otherwise I would be making weird side loading and bullpups in common calibers.

I'd go for a modded super high end AR inspired design. Direct impingement action, use modern springs to get rid of the buffer tube, and use an AMB-17 style top rail as the controlling spine for the bolt so the lower can be composite for under 5lb weight. Tantalum lined barrel and the highest pressure ammo possible. I want hypersonic bullets and this should give 4400+ fps easily.

Just how butthurt do you need to be to make such a cartoon?
Especially since at least half of those features are pretty good.
