If we spotted alien craft approaching our system at say 2% speed of light.
We know they are enemies, all of humanity comes togheter to kill them and we have like 50-100 years to prepare and Unlimited funds.

If their ship is so big we can see it from 1 or 2 lightyears away we are fucked, the kenetic energy alone makes it a planet killer.

if they can do interstellar travel we are absolutely fucked but if for some movie logic we survive the first 10 minutes, the priority should be to develop a biological weapon and deliver it via stealth craft to the center of gravity of the opposing force.
