I watch a lot of youtubes where a guntuber tests a gun's accuracy by carefully shooting from a bench rest or a bipod. And they're always being extremely methodical about it. Loooong pauses between shots.
I can understand why this would be necessary if you're standing up while shooting, or if you're shooting something that moves, but on a stationary target? What are they doing when it's on a bench rest? Waiting for the wind to stop?

Forget OP retarded question.
As far as accuracy goes, for as much as I shoot I'm ashamed how bad of a shot I am with pistols. I really struggle to get decent groups at even 7 yards. I dunno if youtubers have brain rotted me on what is a good shot or not but I feel like I should be grouping better.
My boomer 76 year old dad with full power 357 loads out shoots me every time I take him out.

What's the correct place to discuss firearms, in your opinion?
>>

Practicing at 7 is brainrot. Sucking at 7 is damn you need to learn the basics. Clearly something is fundamentally wrong with your understanding of shooting.
Shooting at 7 is something you do once. You bought the gun you dont know where its hitting you fuck around for an hour then move the target farther out. Or maybe your range lets you practic draws/hipfire then 7 is accaptable.7 is for noobs who rented the gun to feel good that they hit something.

Do you know what the scientific method is? Do you know why a bullet chooses to go in the direction it does? Do you know why it ends up in the hole it makes?
Now before you say 'Magic' I'm gonna tell you a secret.
Not all rifles are made the same. That shitheap you picked up at Sportsman's Warehouse can't make little 3 leaf clovers at 300 yards.

I don't know too much about BDSM, I just know what I like, and I like it when a cute redhead lets a group of older men (who control her job, her reputation, and her financial future) tie her to a board and cause her emotional distress for the titillation of millions of horny viewers, knowing full well what it's about, but pretending (like everyone involved) that it's completely non-sexual, scientific research
Also guns and stuff, this post is completely on topic pls no ban

I’ve also known women who are much prettier in motion/in person than any filled up social media picture they have posted. There’s something to be said for a certain vivacious energy and still shots can highlight a less than ideal perspective of the woman where seeing her in motion kind of blends it all together. I’m sure someone much smarter than me has coined a term for this phenomena.

Mae sure you have a decent understanding of good sight picture for the gun, ask someone to show you a proper grip, and then dry fire practice like a mother fucker. These three things might not make you Jerry Mi/k/ulek but they will help. Additionally if you don’t have a .22 pistol or a good pellet handgun for high volume practice you need to change that.

Dry fire. But not like aim at a light switch and slowly pull the trigger, but et a random time (2-4 sec) and when it goes off smash the trigger. You'll see what your hand is doing when you pull the trigger when your brain says "now" at the range. The drill is called "trigger control at speed" if you want to do some youtube university.

>Loooong pauses between shots.
they are waiting for the barrel to cool down. if you get a barrel hot the gases will expand more and will lead to vertical stringing. this is super common with hunting rifles which will typically have very thin barrels to save weight and it's one of the reasons why target rifles will have ticker barrels, so they heat up slower, but thicker and more rigid barrels are also just more accurate because they don't flex weird

hunting rifles aren't supposed to be shot rapidly, at least not in the US. and the whole accuracy standard thing is basically retarded marketing bullshit where they shoot a bunch of 3 or 5 round groups and then cherry pick the best one. if you want a nonretarded accuracy test watch a Paul Harrell vid because he was one of the only ones who didn't test the accuracy in a retarded way for marketing.
that said, it's dumb to rapid fire a hunting rifle or precision rifle if it's not going to be used that way

Ok but 99.999% of guntuber content has absolutely jack shit to do with hunting or hunting rifles, plus Paul Harrell pretty much only does handgun tests, so that hardly explains it.
Like maybe I'm missing some key subtext here but this guy really does not seem to be doing these as a hunting test, so why is he waiting for the thing to cool down?
>>
>>
>>65070519
If you're testing how it will perform while hunting then no.
Anyway I've heard that apparently if you're shooting fast, like a 5 shot group the barrel and chamber heat up in such a way that the 5th shot does more damage than the first 3. So shooting while allowing the gun to cool makes for longer barrel life.
>>
>>
>>65070601
that's what OP was asking for. paul almost never gave numbers either and just pointed out which group was better or if he could cover a group with his hand
>>65070637
Paul did rifles and ammo too. 9 hole is specifically trying to shoot out to long range so he isn't really trying to get the gun to cool down so much as trying to get the crosshairs on the target because he's moving around while he's shooting. even with the rifle on a bag it's going to move a little when you breathe

None of you simps are capable of discussing a topic. The most popular topics are always some whore part focus pic, and you simps come pouring in. The video production of most shooting videos is dog shit. Good point. Most YT videos are what most men despise. Content that creatures aare more focused about themselves in the videos than the subject matter of the video. Immediate gun action, focus on gun action is the meat of the video, and too much of the videos are disappointment like how porn used to focus on the guy's face. We'd all be like WTF get that gay shit off. Somehow social media, YT, has negotiated this.
I' I had the cash, and studio to throw around I'd make a video in my handgun range time, and round that I shoot.
>>
>>65070519
The only thing they can demonstrate specific to the weapon is its precision. Unless there's some kind recoil management system, there's no point to rapid fire as that's a function of the shooter's ability.
>>
>>
>>65070950
I'm a nogunz thirdie poojeet nignog faggot so take this question with a grain of salt but there seems to me to be a middle ground that should exist between 1200 RPM full auto and taking one shot every 5 minutes while giving the barrel an exfoliating massage with deionized water and a loofah?
Like surely the technology must exist to manufacture a firearm that can squeeze off 10 rounds in 60 seconds and have most of them hit a target? On top of which, some guns must be better at it than others, on account of cooling fins or construction or something, am I crazy?

Anyway, I think I understand now, most "tactical" rifles are, quite reasonably, never expected to be used as such. They are purchased as collectibles and barter items for SHTF fantasies. Most people who buy them are spending beyond their means. Therefore, testing the latest Daniel Defense rifle like it's Winston Churchill's personal Holland & Holland on loan from the British Museum is actually correct methodology and reflects real-world usage. It would make no sense to test accuracy under "rapid fire" (more than 1 shot per minute) because no one does that, and if they do, they're using it wrong.
>>
>>65071309
okay? what have you done to accomplish that? have you built a life and earn an income that can provide a woman with a stable and safe environment? do you have the personality that will draw her attention and keep her interest? do you do anything besides masturbate to hentai?
>>
>>65068448
Get a cheap dot as a training aid. They show you how much you are really moving. Remember to focus on the target not your sights. Shooting a gun should be like using a computer mouse. You don't look at the cursor, you look at what you want to click.
>>
>>65071317
I don't think I've ever seen a rifle test where they were shooting slower than one round a minute. Maybe cold bore testing on a match rifle, but definitely not ARs. Pretty much every accuracy test I've ever seen involved shooting 5-10 shot groups with a few seconds between shots because anything faster than that becomes a test of the shooter's recoil control and not the rifle's mechanical precision. But don't let reality intrude on your superiority complex.
>>
>>65068341
They're lining up their sights. Oddly enough many of the top guntubers are horrible shots. They take all that time then show off a horrible group. They're usually military guys who again oddly enough are horrible shots. You'd think they'd train them better. Is it like one lifetime qualification or something?
