I should probably stfu now its rlly late but BELIEVE ME the devil man manga and it's sequel are way worse in terms of sexual and violent content than crybaby and that's not bad on its own but it gets exhausting constantly getting hit with the "le murder rape, SO SHOCKING" every chapter. Plus Go can only draw women in one way and it is "blowup doll with bolton sphere boobs" which always annoyed me especially since I'm subjected to it constantly lol
Devilman crybaby adapts it way better to modern times I think desu especially since cold war fears aren't really as prevalent anymore.
The best adaptation will always be the old OVAs though on the merits of the hilarious dub alone but also the animation is awesome!!
