I fully understand that. When I was in my teens I was constantly pressured to continue in one of the primary family vocations... was lightly pushed towards a few degree programs. Then I ended up leaving instead of going into the industry and stuff, and it was a real bad time. The way that I was treated was very messed up and shat on multi generationally. To the point that I have nothing to do with them lol. The one weirdly positive thing in my case is that I am one of the rare trannos where I didn't fall out with my family over being trans, it was about stupid family trust/business stuff.
