Kira Hikaru's books. "Rape School" is the basis for all the rape school nukiges I think. His best works are about raping teachers, career women and mature women however. There are other japanese writers who pionereed the rape subgenre or certain themes in it but he is by far the best.No translations.

Are these smut books? I'm primarily looking for more "serious" work but I didn't know about this author and his impact so thanks.

Any recommendations, he seems to have an extensive bibliography.
>There are other japanese writers who pionereed the rape subgenre or certain themes in it but he is by far the best.
Any names? I want to read more about this subject.

Well, the most notable author in rape fiction is Dan Oniroku. His books usually are about period settings in which a female samurai or gambler goes on revenge quest against villains but get captured, raped and usually killed at the end.
Kira Hikaru has a fan page (https://kirahikarufan.com/) with recommended works. I would suggest the Sacrifice series (肉蝕の生贄) if you like the older sister, former delinquent, kind of girl but my favorite is pic related, also a series of two books: it's about two sisters. First one is about the younger one in college who also is a tracking field star. Second volume, and also the best part, is about the older sister, a teacher who knows martial arts and is the face of the anti prostitution movement in town.

Pic related is the first volume of the sisters. Again, it depends on what kind of women you like. Do you like the mature widow, the young wife, the college student, the virgin high school girl, the dashing female caster, etc.
There are a lot of rape literature authors but most of them are trash. Almost as bad as VN writing goes.

Is there some about gyarus or provocative women in general?

Yeah that's why I wanted to know if one like Lolita existed.

No gyarus that I know of. Proud women yes. Most of the women he writes about are proud and unreachable women who fall and end up as masochistic slaves / prostitutes. The two protagonists from those book specially are really strong mentally and physically and the whole point of the books is watching them get psychologically cornered until they become the pets of yakuzas or just addicted to being degraded by scum in the most humiliating situations.

It's mostly normal SM with slaps to the face at most in Kira Hikaru's works. Dan Oniroku goes mutilation and imapalement I think some of the times but just at the end. Sadly, I don't know of any ryona or guro serious writer outside of trashy/anime ones who sometimes use excellent illustrators like Poyonyang in pic related (it's the only not sfw picture of one of his works I found, you can find it on sad panda).

As I mentioned multiple times I'm not looking for smut novels, I'm glad I discovered some new things through the discussion I had with the other anon but I was looking for a more aesthetic depiction of rape, like in Lolita’s treatment of pedophilia and through good writing. Unfortunely the only things I found was novels that went too far into cruelty and not just rape (de Sade's works) or trash dark romance novels.
