Pic related is from I, Napoleon, a solitary card game in which the player takes on the role of Napoleon. The game is very open ended in that Napoleon can die during the Revolution, crown his son emperor, and everything in between. You manage battlefield tactics but also police ties and alliance and personal relationships include your wives and mistresses.

The dune board game is the best board game I have ever played. Genius design of mechanics staying true to the novel.

This is the most unapologetically Jewish game I've played.

It had me in the first half, but obviously became subversive and Jewish by the end. I’ll still concede that the writing was impressive.

>Andrew Jackson switcheroo

His brother did act as a convincing double on campaign many times.

I don’t know any literary vidya and every time I’ve tried checking one out that is revered for its literary depth, I’m always disappointed. I even tried giving visual novels a shot, I tried two, one was Umineko which was a fun little Christie ripoff for a while and then it became gay and like a stupid anime so I stopped playing it, the prose was terrible too. The other was called Wonderful Everyday, which was great actually, pretty schizo, degenerate, fucked up and miserable at times, but it’s entertaining if pretentious with its namedropping writers and philosophers, but it didn’t do a terrible job at integrating some of the ideas into it. It’s the one I didn’t drop. I feel almost ashamed in admitting I genuinely enjoyed some depraved weeb shit.

Kentucky Route 0 is also literary but it's hard to say you "play" it in any conventional sense
