Hey. I’ve posted this here a few times before, but it’s finally finished, so I wanted to show it. Yeah — finished.

I’ve been experimenting for a long time with binder clips, trying to make them look more like a real mech, and I finally realized something:
“Mechs usually have different colors for the body and the joints.”

Up until now, I’d been building everything in a single color, but this time I made the body white and used black clips for the joints. The difference in how cool it looks is huge. I also used 25mm-wide clips, so it has a lot more presence and weight to it.

Yeah I think black inner frame, "protruding" other-color outer parts balance gives a good emphasis

Just when we thought binder clip art couldn't get any better this guy throws a curve ball and elevates the craft another degree.
