See, anon, if I'm not mistaken this artist or a style of drawing ponies was at one point deemed by anons as more cow-like than pony. Something about those ears, maybe their shape. Contrast your picture with pic rel, here the ears are xboxhueg even (just barely looking okay), but overall they feel a bit more pony, wouldn't you agree? At least on yours the snout looks fine, that was problematic for that artist/style in some pictures IIRC.
I'd say the ears are second window to the pony soul, right after eyes. Sure a smile or frown is more expressive at a glance, but I feel ear position is more "sincere", for lack of a proper word. Imagine how she'd fold her ears after you said something sweet that made her fluster.

Of course! If I didn't make it out of the cave, then my corpse is likely unrecoverable by rescuers. I'm a skinny caver, so I'm usually put on the squeeze-y objectives that others couldn't fit through. If I fuck up, I'm in a whooole world of hurt.

Most of the larger / easier objectives have already been covered by others, so if you want to see virgin cave, you gotta suffer a bit for it. Yesterday, another surveyor and I finished up mapping a project cave a few counties over. It had a few low airspace water crawls that sucked pretty badly, but it had some cool formations, virgin passage, and even a few baps! Fun-Fun!

I'll spoonfeed you because this is best princess posted in best princess thread.
4chan removes EXIF metadata from pictures, because metadata can contain silly things like GPS location if not disabled (I sure love opt-out features in modern technology!), but also picture rotation if the camera sensor has different orientation physically in your device. People usually take pictures with phones held vertically, but phones commonly have their 4:3 sensors horizontal. So when you get rid of metadata, you get your waifu stuck on a wall like some batpone or you get matched with an Aussie mare instead.
So you need to reorient the pixels inside file itself to be rotated correctly. IIRC one technique people use is opening the picture in mspaint and simply saving it. Another technique that, well, Derpier anons do is taking a screenshot of the picture as displayed in your gallery software on phone, but you can guess it reduces the resolution and quality further. If you use additional software for 4chan, it might have a feature to do this for you.

Unfortunately, no bats in that section of the cave. The bats are closer to the natural entrance. The landowner of the natural entrance won't let researchers or surveyors in, so the local cave conservancy purchased land from a different landowner directly above the cave and blasted a ~3' diameter shaft ~120' down to the intersection of two underground rivers. That's our primary entrance to negate trespassing. It's easy as hell to rappel down, but climbing back out after a long trip can be grueling!

About 80% of the trips are for conservatory, cartographic, or research purposes. I generally prefer those since they often come with a bit more of a challenge and benefit the cave in one way or another. That in mind, I still lead recreational trips every once in a while for the folks in my caving club (plus, sometimes it's nice to just take a break and do some casual sightseeing). Caving is my passion, and I'm usually out on a trip every other week, so it's all leisure for me!

Would (You) anons go caving? It's not all squeezes, mud, and crawling. There are some wonderful sights to see! There are clubs (called Grottoes) across the United States and abroad that are happy to take newbies on a trip or two and loan gear out just so that people can have the experience. In my experience, most perturbing creepy crawlies are closer to the entrance. The rest are usually found in the stream as isopods, amphipods, etc. The amount varies on how active the food chain is. My worst experience (my first solo survey) was in a cave that had so many mosquitos, that I could not breathe without inhaling a few. I had a neck gaiter to cover my face, but by the end of the day, I was blowing mosquitos out of my nose and wearing a mask of itch relief. All of the mosquitos also made for some nasty looking spiders along the ceiling as well.
