In The Last Round Up she was given voice lines, and Rainbow Dash even referred to her as Derpy.
But.
There were some upset viewers of the show.
Derpy was offensive.
Some blame the vocal minority of soccer moms with downy children. Others just claim it was the right thing to do because she doesn't deserve to be "challenged", or whatever else similar line of thinking.
Hasbro retconned her name to Muffins. Derpy was erased. Her eyes became less derped. And her voice was changed to something less offensive.
But the few and the brave remember trying to save Derpy.
