A weather system that can actually be manipulated and changed by pegasi. Not just making clouds that can make it rain but pushable normal clouds that obscure areas from the sun so they can cool off, rainbows that can link inbetween clouds to make pretty bridges and break down if the clouds are pushed too far appart, wind that pushes others slightly, minor things like that.

Are most people here good at 3d? How long does it take to get good at 3d? Just navigating base SL is confusing for me...

LOL, no. There are only a couple who're really good but the vast majority doesn't even use 3D creation software. Of those who do most are amateurish. I don't mean this in a derogatory way, it's just that 3D shit is really complex and definitely takes a good while to get anywhere.

That being said if you're really interested in 3D you definitely can get relatively quickly to a point where you can make usable SL content. Not everything needs to be polished shiny AAA level shit. If your creations come from the heart and are usable no one will care if you aren't the greatest 3D artist. Fun items are always welcome and if you're smart you can get really far with relatively small effort and skill.

Literally everyone felt that way at first. It gets better the more you use the software and after a while you will enjoy the possibilities. To me SL is like a 3D multiplayer canvas.

No. The number of popens that can do decent 3D would probably not even amount to 10, even though 3D is more accessible than ever, because it still requires you to invest time into it.
Second Life is also very backwards when it comes to 3D, meaning many good practices and methodologies don't work at all for SL, which in turn encourages unoptimized slop.
