WoW trolls are all way into alchemy, voodoo, and spirit magic. It's not a 1:1 thing (particularly since trolls are often into the 'dark arts' sort of stuff) but zebras in MLP strike a lot of the same notes, minus the very heavy Caribbean accents.

alright, some more:
we start out with Fluttershy caring for poor sick Clementine, and whatever it is that she has, Doctor Fauna can't really help either, so she brings her to zecora in hopes of a remedy.
as we know Zecora comes from a far away land, one that borders on Girafrica (for lack of a better name), which is even more unknown to equestrians than Zecora's homeland, but to the Zebra is fairly familiar from her youth. and she immediately knows that what just stepped through the door is NOT a wild animal and instead people like everyone else.
but since she's tactful she doesn't simply burst forth with thisrevelation. isntead she convinces Flutters to leave the giraffe with her for a while (for "diagnosis"), and after she leaves it doesn't take Zecora long to get some words out of Clementine. Yes, she's indeed intelligent, and actually she's been faking sickness for a while now.
it used to be a real illness (for jsut a very short while), and coincidence let Flutters come across her and take her in to take care of her, but Clementine kind of missed the point up to which one would feel it's socially acceptable to say "erm, actually, i could talk and think jsut like you the whole time", as she enjoyed not having to put in effort for a while.
without a home in this strange land, she's kinda stuck and become used to having to pretend various symptoms just so flutters wwill keep helping her.
what would be needed now is a bit of honestly. BUT unexpectedly Fluttershy barges in wanting to see if everything is alright. Zecora, usually so calm and collected, is startled by the sudden itrusion and kinda panics, inventing a bogus diagnosis. now she's in on the lie and herself too embarrassed to come clean.
this goes on for a while, until finally they're forced to admit it was all a bunch of hokey when the two caught red handed exchanging potions so clementine can keep pretending to be sick
moral of the story: better clear up misconceptions sooner rather than later (even if they happen to be beneficial to you) and don't take undue advantage of the kindness of others.
hey, still a better episode plot than Non Compete Clause.
