These aren't irrelevant details, these are things that matter for selling the thing happening. Her wings in the clip flap aggressively when we see in the show that her wings more often flare and stay that way when she's alarmed. We also know that equines will buck when smacked in the hindquarters, Twilight obviously wouldn't full on do that but instincts should have her hind legs jerk. An actual animator would think about some or all of those things because they'd spend hours upon hours animating this, you think they're irrelevant nitpicks because you've spent no more than five minutes watching this video.

Whereas with art, if you have the talent you can easily whip up an aesthetically pleasing sketch or painting in under 12 hours because you're battering your brush around trying to shape what's in your mind already
To make an animation like OP's you'd have to model, UV unwrap, and texture every little thing to make sure they all look graphically homogenous, and then for the characters you'd have to do that on top of weight painting and rigging before animating and compositing otherwise it'd look bad. Most of these processes are so specialized and disconnected that they require different people individually for them in a professional setting.
Most 3dshit you see has the creator just grabing premade assets off of sketchfab or something
And if you want to make something that looks good and not like disney/pixarslop you need to learn NPR rendering which is another chore since you need to autistically cater to that pipeline in the form of learning specialized and obscure techniques like SDF facial mapping, normals editing, automorph and such, most of which have no good place to learn from since 3D has significantly less learning content and resources than art which is terrible as the only road to improving at 3d is the acquisition of pre-existing knowledge, unless you want to piss away months experimenting for a process that takes seconds to apply and minutes to learn if you'd just paid for a good course.
It's absurd that the only way to get somewhat good at 3d without spinning the college roulette is to luck out and find a place where you can pirate courses. Otherwise you're left floundering in youtube tutorial hell.
3D is a cursed field to get into as a hobby.
